What stood out to me in the thumbnail (ie the first impression I got) was the realistic-looking lighting. Now that I look at it up-close, what stands out to me is the texture of the hair. The ligther hair on the scalp looks baby-soft, nice work.
Your tones and proprotion are great, only thing I can see really is the eye looks a little too white

I think you did a excellent job. I learned some photographing tip on shooting black on black and it was mostly about highlighting the edges more so it pops a bit. Again it's great work.

I love the painting you did here D: I've been trying to work with corel painter but it is harder than it looks;;;; And I can tell that you took a lot of time here.
I would say, as far as the jacket goes, treat the wrinkles like a cloth. Add some sharp distinctions with a hue or a contrasting color (depending if it's a leather jacket or not) and add some subtle shades there as well. Hopefully that helps.

Corel is a little hard for me to work with xD But this looks great! I even think you don't need to add detail to the jacket- I like it in its flat color <3

Excellent! I love the hawk. As for the jacket shading, I find that the reducing opacity and using dark to medium browns, or dark blues and purples will help to highlight a darker area. Some artists make the mistake of using greys, but this generally makes a black object look washed out. Good luck!
