A little something I whipped up after coming home from a family outing. I plan on watching Shin Getter Robo Armageddon tonight and I thought I'd draw Ryoma Nagare, Getter-1's pilot. I don't think I managed to capture his raw manliness like I wanted to, but it was freaking fun
What I'd give to see Getter-1 battle Domon's Burning Gundam...

Oh yes, totally does now that I think about New Getter. I had the Stone Sunshine in mind because I could never get tired of that scene where Shin Getter 1 blasted Cohen, Stinger, and the professor to ashes with that single attack. That move makes Hadokens look like water balloons in comparison :V

It's a battle with the original Getter Team line-up; Ryoma, Hayato, & Musashi. It's Shin Getter vs those God A-Holes from New Getter Robo!! And yes. Ryoma does go insane with power!!! But then he snaps out of it & the battle begins!!! 1st, Change Getter 1! Uses TOMAHAWK LANCER on the the Dragon God, cuts off the guy's arms! Then uses GETTER WHIRLWIND SLASH to finish him! Then, Change Getter 2! Use DRILL TEMPEST on the Scroll God, twists him up! Finish him with DRILL ATTACK! Then, Change Getter 3! Lands on the Sword God with GANSEKI OTOSHI, crushing him! Picks him up, and finishes him with IKADON DAISETSUZAN OROSHI! Change Getter 1! Final stand, The Boss God shoots lightning at them! GETTER BEAM(Forehead)!!!! Cancels out!! TOMAHAWK BOOMERANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boss God dodges it!! Shoots more lightning!! CHANGE ATTACK!!! Change Getter 3! DAISETSUZAN OROSHI NIDAN GAESH!! Change Getter 2! DRILL HURRICANE!! Change Getter 1! STONER SUNSHINE!! The Boss is badly injured, But wait! He regenerates!! Charges up with all his power!! Flys strait at Shin Getter!! GETTER SHINE!! SHIN! SHINE! SPAAAARK!!!! They're about to clash, but then... OPEN GETTER!! The SHIN SHINE SPARK keeps going, IMPACT!! Change Getter 1! The Boss is severally weakened, But healing fast! Almost done healing⦠SLICE!!! Man, if only I knew how to draw mechs then I would totally draw that scenario out. Doubt my art style would do Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa justice anyway 
I'm also hyped for the Shin Getter Vs Neo Getter DVD coming out soon. It just makes me cross my fingers even harder somebody would at least license the rights to Shin Mazinger Z. Which I doubt would ever happen

Ryoma in New Getter is also epic. He took on an entire army of oni by himself and left with barely a scratch. Combining him with his SGR look Would cause multiple fangasms :U

well yep ... i got the game ... and trust me ... "IS DAMM EPIC" ... my GAR team always will be: Shin Getter (Ryoma,Hayato,Benkei) or Black Getter , God Gundam (Domon) and Master Gundam (Master Asia) ...
i see the ACE for PS3 o.O is awesome too ... but ... the bad barried so much many of the cast from ACE3 ... but add awesome things like the Nine Ball Seraph , the Cybuster ... and the detail is extreme awesome too ... i they add the Getter or another in the next game *w*

.......Holy crud dude. If I had that game, that TOTALLY would have been my GAR team! My best friend and I are massive Domon/Asia fanboys XD I'd probably throw Heero in there to spice things up, but if the game had Deathscythe Gundam, my life would be complete
I just saw ACE:R footage and it looks tear jerkingly fantastic. It's games like this that makes me sad I live in the states D: I'd mostly play it for the Code Geass and Char's Counterattack cast due to the lack of G Gundam, Getter, or even Mazinger/Kaiser for that matter T-T

well ... whit Hiro Yui ... i got the Overkill Team: Gundam W Zero Custom (Hiro) , Freedoom Gundam whit METEOR (Kira) , Justice Gundam whit METEOR (Althrun)...
and ... sadly ... DeathShcyter isn't in ACE3 ... "BUT" ... Deathscyter Hell Custom , Heavy Arms Custom , Nattaku , Sandrock Custom , and Talgreese III is in the previous ACE game ... A.C.E 2 ... and surely ... Deathscyter in 1 of my fav gundams ever <3 .... followed for Zero Custom Heavy Arms , Master Gunda , God Gundam and Freedom ...
and is matter of time too ... whit start to throw ideas for the next ... it would be awesome to get the Gurren Lagann and Mazinger there ... Gai from Nadesico again , the Getter (Ryoma specially) , God and Master Gundam ... it would be the more awesome and GAR ever ...

well the only SRW who had the GL is the SWR-Z2 for PSP ... but chibized n_Γ± ... i mean ... TTGL in the size and 3D like the Shin Getter or Black Getter on ACE game ... it would be really awesome ... and the TTGL ... would be really overkill but nice as choose for only a single mission or as background of something ovekilling in the final mission ... maybe they will add Arc Gurren or the Dai Gurren who is more reasonable ... would be like the Macross ...

Shin Getter really isn't that popular in the states. Only the very most recent anime has ever been dubbed. In Japan, it's really popular XD
