Description
I have a handful of reasons why I really wanna play Muramasa: The Demon Blade (or Muramasa: Rebirth for the fortunate Vita owners out there getting the superior version). Among the stunning art direction and classic side scrolling hack n slash gameplay, Raijin is number one on my list
Anyway, tried something extremely different with the coloring style. Something a little less cel-shady and more painterly. I'll mess around with it some more until I get cleaner results.

I just beat this boss. She was a lot better than I had expected. It's weird because when I saw Greenscorpion64's let's play, I thought that her fight was going to suck because of how he thought it was easy and dissapointing. Well, I don't know if it's because I have Rebirth, but that's not what I thought. I thought she was kind of cool. I loved all of the multiple attacks that she had and the visuals were just stunning. Same goes for the music playing in the background. I also kind of like this interpretation of Raijin even if I am confused on why she is not called the Goddess of Thunder since Raijin is female in this game. Or maybe she's genderless. Well, at least she looks cool. I don't have a problem with muscular women, the Amazon from Dragon's Crown is the same way with her design. Although, I am a bit confused about Fujin's purpose since in mythology, I think that he and Raijin were rivals, no? Anyway, Raijin looks great!
