Description
After about 4 months of on and off work, I have finally completed an amigurumi zergling! This project began during my summer break as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday (sadly it took longer than expected and I didn't make the deadline XD). But he was very surprised and overjoyed to have received such a gift thankfully lol. This doll measures between 2 1/2 and 3 feet. Its legs, body, and clawed appendages are wired with 4 gauge copper wiring so it can be posed (the doll is a bit heavy so I needed extra strong wire to support it). I decided to embroider the eyes and teeth rather than use my usual felted eyes. I felt that the embroidery would make the doll look a bit cleaner. I will most likely add more details to the doll later (such as spines and some extra spikes), but I feel I need a break from this big boy to work on other dolls. I'm hoping to actually write up the pattern I used to make the doll eventually if enough interest is shown. Hope you enjoy!Zergling and Starcraft II are trademarks of Blizzard.
Zergling image I used for reference was designed by MKounelakis.
