I made this for a merthur-party prompt over on tumblr.But since I'm the queen of procrastination I didn't finish it on time.. well it's finished now so whatever.

In the show Gwen is a servant as well so I guess the writers don't really care about these things

i do toattly get where ur coming from tho. they do still have there moments. like in the one where arthur as to go find that thing to prove he's worthy of his kingdom and merlin and gawaine turn up. and they had a moment when merlin gets trapped they gawaine hugs merlin properly and glares at arthur. as if to say u had ur chance, he's mine now. x

Yeah, stuff like that and I'm just such a sucker for best-friends!ships and even though Gwaine and Merlin are good friends, Arthur and him just seem to go way back and they are constantly together. And then there is season 4 of course.. /coughs
