Description
So I finally finished the firebringer trilogy and it was great! A little wordy for me but none the less awesome. This is a prismacolor render of Calydor, a renegade stallion in the book. His coat is an indigo blue spattered with stars and three socks. possibly my favorite of the characters color schemes. I'm gonna redo this in photoshop because the grass sucks and my scanner picks up the sketchiness EVEN though this is prismacolor premier and I smoothed it over smoothness...curse that scanner.Related content

The Son of Summer Stars was my favourite of the trilogy, mainly because it had the most Calydor in it. You did a very nice job on him, and I love the way you did his mane. The background actually doesn't look that bad. I know I couldn't do grass that well.

Sketchyness you say? hmmm... it's probably best if you use Prismas to press down hard in all areas (subject, background and foreground). but if that is what you intended then just ignore me.
I love the pose! Very majestic and powerful looking! ^^
This would be a piece you should definately do in photoshop^^

uhhh... do something? As in "hang out"? well... we don't have to seeing as you are always working. THAT'S NOT A BAD THING! It's very GOOD you have a job. I had a job too... But I quit 3 days into it because they wouldn't train me and always nagged me for doing something wrong. That's not all the reason but... I don't want to drag on and on about something not important.
I won't be free as often anymore though. I am taking summer school from 7am - 4pm Mon- Fri (but I don't get home 'till 5) , because we all know I F'd up my junior year. But yeah... soo... when you want to hang... I'm free anytime after school and on the weekends. ^^
