this one was done of matte board with pencils/pencil,pens and black gouache.sign of yours truly
the tremor in my right hand decided to pop by while I was drawing the waves...it was shaking like nobodies business
so the waves arent really what I hoped they would turn out as

i think its kind of interesting how much the stomach stands out and thats the ruling body part for cancer. i dont know if you did it on purpose or if it just happened because your a cancer. either way, i like it a lot.

I thought I commented on this one before, but I didn't see it, so at the risk of repeating myself....
As a cancer myself too, I've been waiting a long time to find an awesome picture of cancer. This is the best interpretation that I've seen of cancer ever! All the cancer's i've seen were always just the crab (one was even wearing a barbecue apron for some reason), but this combination works much better. I really feel like she is of the sea, and I feel some greek mythos eminating from her as well. Yet she is a likeable character and she rises above the stereotypical extremely "feminine" image of cancer.

Yay! Cancer's my sign too, and finally a work that makes me proud to be a cancer. All the other cancer images I see just have the crab; no imagination at all. But your style is really neat and makes this a cancer to remember!

I adore the way you made this... The dark board and colouring/highlights/shading make he look so three dimensional. The anatomy is lovely, her tummy... the crab arm, everything just fits so well and looks so good!
