i would hope any helmet would have space between the user's scalp and the inside of the helmet. like for cushioning, a suspension system, or heating/cooling system.

the perforated barrel is from darthpandanl's Browning 1919, the reciever and trigger assembly is from bar27262's sturmgewehr, the MG42 stock is also from bar27262, while the scope and it's mount is from ioshkinkot.
