Hey everybody! So here we have another page and the attack has officially started. Sorry for the hiatus, been pretty busy recently, mostly with personal matters. Anyway very happy how this page came together, always really like to work with Ghost types and spiritual characters in general. Lots of unique powers, weird supernatural stuff you can do, uncanny valley and all that. So love to work that into Ghost Type Pokemon's combat styles. Definitely be seeing more of that! Lore wise I've always treated as though Ghost types were not ghosts themselves (being born the same as other Pokemon suggesting they're not unique for say and the Ghost Marowak subplot also suggests there's a distinction between a ghost Pokemon and ghost type pokemon) but instead are essentially what happens when a living creature taps into spiritual powers. Essentially ghost and spiritual powers grant them ghost abilities and also has effects on them like shown here with Zoroark being able to dissolve into shadows and such. Also thought it be interesting to play around with the red things on H. Zoroark. Pokedex seems to suggest they're akin to pestilence and death, so decided to play into the horse of the Apocalypse for reference and make them akin to a power source that physically warps the character when used. About covers all that, hope you guys enjoy and more to come!
