Hey everybody, another page and we enter the primary antagonist for this series, Bounty Hunter Crystalis! She's been talked about quite a bit and shown in close up snippets but here is the first full shot of her and the new look for the reboot! Design wise it's similar to the original, main difference is I was able to do stuff with her here that I wasn't able to do like the curly hair, folded cloak and a few other things. I also thought it be an interesting thing to give her Pokeball effect a unique look too, originally it was red like everybody else's but I thought it be a fun idea to have hers be distinct with the blue lightning whip effect. her gadget was also changed, mainly being more streamlined. Hope you guys like these design changes and overall ascetic.
As for the page itself, seems Blaze has figured out this fight is going south real quick and has decided to send the boys away. Not a whole lot of good options for them at this point. Lastly we get another example of type related powers. This one being a fire type one known as Pyrokinesis, the ability to control, manipulate, extinguish, etc fire and heat. Here she is making the fire wall erupt into a tower of flames and heat to keep Enigma there away. I like these powers to reflect the stats as well, Flareon having high special defense makes sense it be able to use more indirect, supernatural means of defending from attacks like this. Pretty much covers that, hope you all enjoy and more to come!
