Hey everybody, as promised, the next page of Solarshadow! Here we continue with the attack from Crystalis and the introduction to Monarch, the Slowking. This is one of the departures from the original, as originally she didn't bring Monarch to this fight and instead brought a Frealigatr. I changed that for the reboot for a few reasons but the primary one was some confusion regarding here team. Originally she decided to not bring Monarch due to his cold blooded, cut throat personality and not wanting to directly engage with Blaze. Here though, things are different mainly due to Solar and Shadow's presence this time, so the plan does involve a direct confrontation with Blaze, so doesn't really make sense she wouldn't bring Monarch this time. So here he is. Other reasons have to do with future events that we'll see later. As for the page itself, think it turned out very nice, great opportunity to do all sorts of effects and special lighting, always enjoy doing that sort of thing. Hope you guys enjoy and more to come!
