So at long last, the party they have been preparing has officially begun. It's a last minute thing so it's more of a get together but they should enjoy themselves regardless. We have some cameos, the Vulpix and Ninetales from the beginning of the story have come back, they are fine, and the Marill was featured in one of the original parody comics, being one of Solar's friends. Otherwise we meet Aura's dad, who has only been mentioned until this point. I played with his design quite a bit, I wanted to make him look different from Aura but still have them similar due to them being related. Most of his features are meant to make him look older (greyish white fur apposed to her pearl white, his black his a duller lighter black, whereas hers is darker and has more blue, that sort of thing). The party will focus on two characters, Blaze and Aqualus and it will be cutting back and forth between their two scenes. I plan to go to two a week like last year but I don't feel I'm ready to that quite yet, so I'll shoot for starting that in April or late March instead, we'll see. Huh, it's great to finally see a more calm "arc" in this comic which involves daily life elements. Warning, my comment will be all over the place.
Some things:
1. Tyler is a shy shining sweetheart.
2. Is the TM machine like a disco machine? I really don't get it.
3. I am so glad the Vupix is fine and I hope that Nightmare or his henchman will stay away at least for this good time.
First I thought "oh Solar maybe something going with that ninetales....". Btw. I really like her haircut.
Then I realized a minute later that she is a mother.
Great page, but that was to expect cause it's you. I imagine this one was a challenge with so many different pokemon, angles and most of all positioning. Why am I not surprised Aqualus straight wants to go to wrestling......dududududu. Wonder if he is one of those guys who gets bored to death if he has to stay by talking adults. Reading the comic back, I realized that he is much more childish than I thought. I still hold him in high regards for saving Tyler thought. And yea, I hope he ends up an adope- child. Huh, I wonder why Aqualus is one of the key characters on the party.
Highlight for me on this page:
Tylers shyness and the revelation that the Vulpix wasn't killed by Nightmare.
A for the drawing highlights:
1. Again the way Tyler reacts in the second panel.
2. Aqualuses flawless walk as well as how well drawed the walking fo that vulpix in the background is.
3. The eyes of Auras dad.

She means the TM machine is put away for right now but if somebody wants to learn a move from it, they'll boot it up.
Well Enigma (as Dragonite) said he was to busy to attend there party, so at the very least he wont be there.
Solar is handing food out.
Yeah she's the Vulpix's mother from the first page.
It was more difficult than other pages but it wasn't to bad. I always like the varied camera angles, I think it makes the panels look nicer when there's something different in each one, even if it's just a different camera angle (also helps make conversations more visually interesting I think).
Aqualus is a good fighter and enjoys friendly matches with the others. Aqualus is supposed to be human equivalent to 15, so he has some maturity that comes with growing up but he's still pretty young. He likes to tease and play like the other kids too. There will be two major segments going on during the party, Blaze and her conversation with Aura and her dad and Aqualus, exactly what he will be focusing on will be shown in a little bit.
