As promised, Aqualus will be focused on during this chapter. So here we finally get focus on something that up until this point has only been hinted at and some people picked up on it. I don't want to say to much about it as it will be explored more in the following pages and in general it will be a major story arch too. So I'll just let the story itself reveal what will be revealed for now. All I'll say is this should be a very different lighting for Aqualus, who is usually a upbeat, happy character, so what's bothering him is really bothering him. Hopefully that comes across here. As for the page itself, I tried a few new things with it, somethings I like, some I don't, probably continue playing around with stuff. Hope you guys enjoy. I actutally enjoyed this page more at the second time then I did on the first time. It's really nice drawn, especially Aqualus body language. I especially like Solars position in panel 8, showing exacly how uncofortable he is with the situation. It reminds me on the fan story I writed for you, since that story had him in a similar situation with Nymphia and I imagined him acting in a similar manner as here. Also in the second- last panel Aqualus is super duper cute!
I am really curious about Aqualus and his past and what the deal with this "how do I find the right people to thrust" is. It acutally could be the story I will be most into in SC aside from Frostbite. I hope that in the end he may becomes part of the family or find something else that gives him what he search for, thought I may prefer the first thing.
Also just in general: Me sees the great Vaporeon= Me is happy

Glad you do, this page needed a lot of body language considering this was intended to be an uncomfortable exchange between the two. Solar isn't quick to help or go out of his way for anybody that he doesn't consider family (he initially tries to get Aqualus to ask Blaze instead) and Aqualus in general doesn't really like talking about this (that and he already told Blaze he was fine). As far as Solar goes, generally he'll help somebody out if they relate to family members, like here Aqualus is Harvest's best friend.
Aqualus' subplot is probably the most significant to me personally since it was inspired by something that happened during my sister's wedding. I'll talk more about that when the events in question comes up but I'd say Aqualus is a contender for my favorite character in Shining Consequence.

Well I think you did well with the body language to reach said goal. It's always interesting to see your characters in something that is important but they are not to much into like Solar helping out others with life lessons or general mouth support.
You mentioned that for some time now. I wonder how one expirience can give such a interesting backstory. Well, I guess I will have to wait and find out. He is? Wow, well he deserves it.

Are Aqualus' head fins supposed to be entirely hidden by his neck fin? I thought the head fins would stick out at least a little, considering the front makes it look like they would.

They do, I don't really get what you mean by that. I guess they could be a little longer but I think it looks fine.
