So we continue here. Sorry I've been running late recently, busy time before Halloween but things should slow down after Halloween, so hopefully that wont be a problem for long. Anyway, we see Swarm again, where he is officially named in the comic itself. We learn a little bit about him and Goodra herself. I am curious to see what people think of the thing Toxin brings up at the end of this. The Antagonists will be no strangers to the theme of the chapter, Love and War. I plan to cut back and forth between this sequence and Shadow and Nymphia's date, which we'll get back to in the following pages while these guys get ready for Crystalis. Not a whole lot else to say, I tried a few new things with the art in this one, think it looks good, probably continue to experiment though. It's so hard to believe that Goodra who is so full of passion and love for her companions also is so filled with hate. It makes me kinda sad. She could just focus on this little Scyther and would probably be a lot more happy in the future (but as we see the story will not go any near such a path).

Yeah, well Goodra's character was supposed to have a tragic level to it due to that. Toxin said she wasn't like that until after what happened in the Rocket Base, so that element of her personality was a direct result of whatever they did there. She still put the promise she made to Swarm's mother as priority though, as her encounter with Nymphia in the Rocket Base was purely coincidental. Though she did and still does plan to go after Nymphia later.

No, we talked about that before with Rotaar, all the characters have unique traits and changes made to the normal designs to give them a more unique look. For example, Drake has several small changes:
Flygon's eyes are always visible, Drake's are only visible in certain lighting/ angles
Drake has feeler hairs on his antenna, Flygon doesn't have that
Drake's foot ends in a single claw, normal Flygon is just round.
His wings are attached to his back by a definable shoulder appendage, normal Flygon's are not.
The wings on his tail are proportionately larger.
His tail is made of only six segments and it starts with a dark green segment, normal Flygon is about 8 and starts with the light green color.

Alright so it does not necessarily have to do with bloodline and the like, but mostly to make them more distinct from other members of their species.
