Hey everybody, got a new page for you. Not as happy how this one came together but overall I think it looks nice. We get some more out of the relationship between these two, I wanted it to be handled very differently than Nymphia and Shadow are, whereas these two are both shy and reserved. We also get to see some more of Drake's confidence issues. Not a whole lot else to say, I hope you guys enjoy and more to come!I also I decided to experiment with the dialogue and word balloons some too. I have always liked the unique almost signature look I give them but I have always felt they could look a little more professional. So I tried to find a compromise for that, let me know if you like these better.

This last three panels specifically are just so beautiful. I think not only your art should be appreciated but your story telling as well. It's very easy to get hooked!

I do like it better. It was a bit odd noticing that the texture under Drake's feelers was missing, but the sleek look suits a flygon. Although, this is the first time she really seems to show some sort of romantic feelings for the guy. Some of the things he's done around her could be taken as a crush, but this was actually a bit surprising.

It's a detail that I added to give him a unique look, all of the characters have those but it's never really added anything. He still has the other stuff, so I don't think it's really missed. This is the first time it's been directly addressed but they have hinted at it in other occasions. They both have a crush on one another but they're also both naturally shy and lack the confidence to ask. Goodra almost did here but her nervousness got the better of her.

I really like this page and the interaction here especially.Both are s sweet in their nervousness and thier position. I especially like panel 6, it jsut looks to adroable and funny, but I am not sure what exacly he wants to show with that posture (this one son me not you, you did good with the body language). I was never so much into this characters then in thsi apge, but as you know that also might be cuase I am a sucker for romance. I also love how Goodra always hold her feelers when she is nervous, gives her and aorable ands symphathic impression. I am also sad it ended in a never mind, was she about to confess to him I wonder?

Glad you like it! Yeah these two are both naturally shy and reserved, Drake more so but that has more to do with the experiences Goodra had in the labs. Drake's posture there is intended to be a nervous happiness, he's happy about the compliment but doesn't really feel he deserves it. Just more social awkwardness from him. The romantic relationship between these two is handled quite a bit differently, whereas Shadow and Nymphia are more apparent, these two are shy and insecure, so they express their mutual crushes in that same kind of manner. Goodra came close to telling him here but she's to shy. Drake himself was eager for that but since he didn't get it, he too is to reserved to say it either.

I see with the posture now, very well done then. I usally wreite my romances the way that there is one dominant force and one more shy who shows glimpses of what it wants tho so its obvious enough, Its interesting to see two very shy going at it in a romance.

Haha, when the word "adorkable" gets recognized by Webster's as a legitimate word, I bet the picture of Drake in the sixth panel would be a brilliant image to be placed next to it. Everything about his behavior - his body language, his tone - conveys absolute coyness, and I find it oddly appealing.
Also, not gonna lie... Drake looks kinda hot in the sixth panel. I have never seen a flygon depicted in a pose that way before, and Drake makes it work. The beautiful anatomy certainly contributes. (Sorry, is it weird for users to refer to your characters in such a way?)
But that monochromatic shot of Drake in the fourth panel... Oof. I commiserate with him, especially after Goodra yelled at him, even though she is aware of Drake's actions being hindered by his entomophobia. At least she appreciates everything he has done for her... like lugging her 330-lb. body from one place to another. Drake should take a lot more pride in his strength; he is still a dragon-type pokemon, after all.
By the way, it might just be me, but I find it hilariously ironic that Drake, a flygon, is afraid of insects. I mean... Boi, you look like a flippin' giant dragonfly, which, the last time I checked, is a species listed under the class Insecta!

Drake lacks a lot of self respect and confidence. He's a very timid and socially awkward guy.
Similar to how Solar gets mad whenever he's described as pink, Drake gets mad if he's ever compared to bugs. Insisting Flygon isn't bug type, therefore isn't a bug (he says the same thing about Vibrava and Trapinch too)

In germany we call Flygon Libelldra, which contaíns he german word Libelle which means dragonfly. So in our country he is part dragonfly after naming.
