And with a final kiss, Nymphia and Shadow's date comes to a close. A kiss something that a lot of you guys have talked about and saying you have been hoping for and sure enough, they do. I hope you guys enjoyed this scene, like said, I had a lot of hopes for this scene and if done right, it should be one of the most memorable sequences in the entire series. I was looking forward to this scene and I enjoyed working on it quite a bit. As for the kiss itself, this gets a little into what i was talking about before, that being the impact I hope to create by using varied panels sparingly. The final splash panel of them kissing I think has a lot more impact when they too are used sparingly. Some people don't like splash panels due to them taking up a lot of space that could be used for other things and what is contained in them is the most eye drawing thing, so it should be the most important thing too. So for me, I feel like splash pages should be sued sparingly as well and they should always contain a very important or significant event, such as here where it used to empathize the kiss between Shadow and Nymphia.
