Description
Decided to release this a little earlier to make up for moving the deadline. So the night sequences are over and we get into the following morning where the War part of Chapter 2's title, Love and War will reach its climax. This has been a scene the story has also been building up to, Solar and Nymphia have had a pretty spiteful relationship so far. I wanted their relationship to be sort of horseshoe in nature, with them standing on polar opposite positions while having common ground that they both care deeply for somebody else and the thought of that person(s) being hurt, insulted, etc will set them off. Another thing about this time that's different is the position the two are in. Usually Solar is willing to back off and holds back. Usually when he gets told off he backs down, however this time he is furious. Likewise, usually Nymphia is certain and dominant, quickly willing to tell him off but this time he's insulting somebody who only might be somebody she cares about and she knows how angry he actually is about this, putting her in the position where she is willing to back off. Unfortunately Solar isn't willing to let it go. So unlike before, he will not hold back and we will learn more about exactly why he feels the way he does and we'll get a possible revelation that should shake things up quite a bit I think. If done correctly, this should be one of the most uncomfortable sequences in the whole series. Like said, this sequence will explore the concept of protagonist centered morality and I am very curious to see how people take this (and the following one, which I expect to be one of the most uplifting sequences).
On a side note, this si the first comic page to be created using Sketchbook, since I'm still new to the program, I actually used both Sketchbook and photoshop to create this page, using photoshop to clean it up and do the things I don't know how to do yet in Sketchbook. So if the artwork looks different to you, as it should, that is why. Personally I think it looks a lot better. I'm still new to the program so it's not perfect or anything but I think it's a great start and I am hopeful that future pages will look even better as time goes on. Overall though I am happy with this page and I hope you guys are too.

I am still coming back agian and again cause this is one of the biggest evnets and probably the one of them I have payed the least Attention too, and I still wanna give a opinion About it, and what I realized now is, the Speed the wrath shifts from Crystalis to Marina and therefore to Nypphia sicne she is her puppet in his believe, and therefore I think Kind aof a Substitute for Solar here(just a bold idea), is tratic to say the least. I mena how it strted it kinda could have been the first respectful Scene between theme, but Solars Anger could have turned into a Slaughter, with Nymphia near death (my Money in the all out fight is on SOlar now after you made some Arguments) and Solar in not much better shape (perhaps collosing too if Nyphia got some heavy hits in, I bet it would have been kinda left Solar on like 10 percent or even less Health)

Yeah they potentially could have had a positive exchange here but Solar was blinded by rage at this point, this sequence was intended to be one of the most uncomfortable sequences followed by one of the most uplifting sequences. So they didn't have that positive exchange here but they did later and will in Chapter 3 as well.
As far as the battle, if they had fought to the death, than yeah, Solar would have been a lot more messed up than he was, Nymphia doesn't go down easily.

May I add that I love the Solars eye Panel. I once setted my Goal btw to review each big sequence of the Comic, so I may see if I write a comment in the nex days or weeks.

Also, sylveon, like here, is usually pictured as female but due to Eevee usually being male it's actually more common to have a male Sylveon (Like me).

I know that, that's been incorporated. The majority of the Eevee/lution characters are male here and Espeon is male here too despite it usually being depicted female (several people thought and still do think Solar is a girl).

I noticed. And I thought Espeon was usually depicted as a boy...? It's usually Sylveon that's depicted as female. I mean it [Espeon] is more feminine (aside from Sylveon) and catlike than all the others (It's PINK, although that's because it's Psychic)...
Also do they REALLY think Solar is a girl!? I can't see how they think that... Like, really...

From what I see it's usually female. For me the trends are Eevee is usually male, Vaporeon varies but is usually female, Flareon varies but is usually male, Jolteon is pretty much always male, Umbreon is usually male, Espeon is usually female, Glaceon varies but is usually female, Leafeon seems about 50/50 and Sylveon varies but is usually female.
It hasn't happened recently admittedly but I do get comments from time to time about people reacting to something like Blaze commenting that he's her brother and or Tyler calling him Uncle, something like that.

I am using a new art program called Sketchbook now, which uses different brushes, so that's a major reason why. Could also be the setting, the last several pages have taken place at night, night fall, in a dark room, etc, this is meant to be morning after the sun has risen in a low tree area, so there's no night time effects placed on it. It's also colored differently because they're supposed to be on the edges of the Akripap territory, whereas they're usually in the middle of it, so wanted the area to look a little different.

The "new look" is amazing and reminds me a little of some older comics from you. The colours are so powerful. Especially Nymphia shines here. I most likely will write a long comment tommorow or so!

The following page will explore the answer to that in greater detail, specifically what Solar really thinks of Marina and why he thinks that but there's am earlier quote from Solar that sums it up.
"I don't trust you... Truth be told, you and your master are no different than the others to me."(Solar, Solar's Den P.2)
the short version is: Solar believes that Nymphia is loyal to Marina, not to them. In addition, he believes that Nymphia's true intentions are to see Marina's desires realized. He also believes that Marina's interests are the same as other Pokemon Trainers like Crystal, which is to capture Tyler for personal gain. So if Nymphia found Tyler, she would be alone with him and Solar is wondering what would she do? He believes the answer is she would do what she believed Marina would want her to do in that situation. Which as far as he is concerned is the same thing the "Evil Witch" would want Nymphia to do.

Thanks for clearing, so Solar is indeed seeing Nymphia as a thread and enemy who plans to harm his family. But then why did he send Nymphia to search for him after all, does that mean he is struggeling with his view. I try to understand both sides, but in my opinion thinking off her as an enemy with this "idiology" is a little bit to much. Like I said, maybe Solar is struggeling about that with himself. I seripulsy hope he does. However, now that state of mind I don't think is really just seeing the worst and won't slow down like he did before, as stated in the description (yea I always read it like I should

He doesn't necessarily believe she plans to do anything, her loyalties are questionable to him and he believes that she is only an ally due to circumstance. The best comparison I can think of is when a hero and villain team up to defeat a larger threat. They're working together and are allies technically but they're only doing it because they have to. When the chips are down though, they're still enemies and can't be trusted and when the greater threat is gone, they'll go right back to being enemies again. Solar views Nymphia like that, that she is technically on their side but only because circumstances have forced her to. He believes that if Marina did come back, Nymphia would turn on all of them, including Shadow, in a heartbeat.
As far as why he'd ask her to look for him in the first place. He was desperate to find him and cares more about family than their feuding (he states that in the second fight as well). This is the following morning and he hasn't been found, which in of itself is having a major impact on him. He's also going through the stages of grief now too, anger in particular.

Ah thank you for clearing. I still don't know how to see the "what if you find him?" then as it implents to me he thinks she would do something bad to him. I am still a little puzzled about the dialogue.

It's all about loyalty, like if he wondered the same thing about Shadow, Shadow's loyalty isn't questionable to him, so the answer would be that Shadow would bring Tyler back, no doubt about it.
Nymphia's loyalty is questionable as far as Solar is concerned and he doesn't know what the answer to that question is, which bothers him (She might return him, she might not, she might do something bad to him, etc). He does however know what "The Evil Witch" would do (Which is capture him) and that also bothers him. The only other thing I'll say is with "I want to know something from you." he's about to ask her a question, "What would you do if you find Tyler?" Isn't the question he's about to ask.
