Nymphia throws a punch, I can't say Solar doesn't deserve that XD. Things have escalated out of control and this verbal fight has gotten physical! I think the page speaks for itself really, so I will focus more on the creation process. Originally this was included in the previous page (similar to the kiss was, a spread panel at the bottom) but I decided to make it a separate splash page instead. This decision in part lead to me being late, as I redid this panel to make it large enough to warrant a spread page. I tried my best to make the impact of this really resonate, I wanted a lot of wait to the punch, lots of body language, etc. I looked at several famous comic artists suggestions on how to produce a powerful looking punch and they were very helpful but all of them depicted humans punching one another, whereas these two are supposed to be regular animals (anatomy wise) and as such, like the dance sequence, I had to sort event my own techniques for applying those techniques into making an animals swing look the way I wanted it to look. Very happy with the results. I hope you guys enjoy and more to come!
