Description

Shadow and Nymphia, as mentioned in the previous deviation. Here I have these two depicted, it’s kind of interesting the relation Umbreon and Sylveon have in most fan art. Usually they are rivals or Sylveon is like a creepy stalker. Either way, I decided to try this and see how it worked out. At the time, I didn’t know dark and fairy would have any relation, so that ended up being a neat coincidence. I was originally going to have Solar fall for Nymphia instead but I changed that for two reasons. 1) I felt Shadow needed more to do, and this would definitely give him some depth. 2) I had Tyler in mind and Solar seemed to be more suited to him then Shadow did for some reason, at least I thought so. Regardless Shadow and Nymphia are depicted here, I haven’t had them get close like this before, though I think it’s been fairly obvious Shadow likes Nymphia so this shouldn’t be a surprise. Also Nymphia will be a reoccurring character, how often she appears is unkown t this time but at least the first story will revolve around her more than Solar and Shadow (though they’ll have their moments, I assure you that). The next portrait will depict Goodra and Nymphia, I don’t know when I’ll release those since I have to sit down and draw those ones (apposed to these two, which I’ve had for about a month now and have been debating when to show them off). So whether Goodra will debut in the comic series or in a portrait I can’t say.
