So we continue into this story. We find out how joining that group worked out for Solar and Blaze. Shadow will talk more about his experiences later but you can guess it wasn't much better. Not sure how I feel about this page, I like some parts of it but not others. Not a whole lot to say about it really beyond that, think it speaks for itself really. Hope you guys enjoy and more to come.*Don't know if I need to mention this, but Persian is immune to Shadow ball, Solar's just trying to get his attention with it. I wanted to change it up a little, attacks that Pokemon are immune to still hit them, it just splashes against them without doing damage.*

Solarshadow Anniversary Contest Solarshadow has just finished Chapter 2 officially and as promised, I want to run a contest to celebrate it. Specifically, I want to focus on what I had called the big events of that chapter. Significant events of Shining Consequence going on at the time will also be accepted. Goal will be to depict one of these events in some sort of way, be it drawing a picture based on one of these scenes, an alternate ending or reimagining to one of these events, predictions on future things based on one of these, etc. Below is a list of all of the events that qualify and the pages that featured them for quick reference:

Man I haven't seen that movie in years. Should go check it out. Guess they're both animals being double crossed in the city. Though Solar's older than Oscar was I think, Solar's Human equivalent to 17 or so there, he's supposed to be a late teenager when he gets abandoned.

I always saw Oliver as about 13-15, though most think of him being around 10. Of course, I also always imagine stage 1 evolvable pokemon as sounding younger than their actual age would be.(kinda like being stuck as a kid.)

I can see Pokemon that evolve sounding young, makes sense. Would make me wonder about ones like Scyther, where they can evolve but require the trade system to do it and Scyther doesn't look like a kid. Maybe it wouldn't apply since Scyther used to be fully evolved. Who knows.

Pokemon like Scyther, who have item linked, trade based evolutions, have the full range of age voices, from toddler just learning to crotchety old man/spirited old lady. The evolved form just adds a filter, which varies depending on the pokemon. Scizor, for instance, would have a metallic/metal helmet echo, where as a Dusknoir's voice might have a slightly muffled or distant touch to it. In my head, anyway.

Yep, sounds like an espeon pretty well. They utterly annihilate certain pokemon, and are utter trash to almost everything else :v (It is nice that most of the annihilated pokemon are in-meta right now, though)

Yeah, well combat wise Solar is monstrously powerful but he lets that get to his head. Here he's powerful for an Eevee but is still weaker than evolved Pokemon generally speaking. If the Jolteon had gone through with trying to kill him, he probably could have been able to put up a fight but he would never have been able to win or escape, so he surely would have been killed there.

Yeah well Solar really bought into the family and dedication to help one another thing. So the whole thing was pretty devastating for him.
