Hey everybody, so another piece relating to the possible rebooting of Catch Me If You Can. This time we have the cover for Revealing the Roses Thorns and to be honest, I kind of like it as the cover for the story itself, I don't know, I like this picture a lot and feel it sums it up fairly well without giving away to much. I may make it the cover, I may just keep it as Chapter 2's cover. Regardless, on to the piece itself. So as many of you know, this is a remake of this:

The real goal is one of the reasons I want to do this is I don't like how the comic looks right now and if I do reboot it, it will use a new art style, the one shown here. This style's main purpose is to give a simple visual que it is different from Solarshadow and Shining Consequence without having to actually say anything. The main goal behind it is to produce a less digital look and a more penciled appearance, softer colors and less contrasting elements to it. I also cleaned up the borders and made logo that pops more. I think the whole thing has a pleasant, framed look to it that I am much, much happier with. I am still playing around with this technique so I don't have it quite perfect yet but I feel this a pretty good demonstration of what this would look like.
So far most of you guys seem fine with the reboot, though I can understand why some people wouldn't like to wait for new stuff and just be reading something they've seen already (at least something similar), so what I might do is something like during the contest for Solarshadow and Shining Consequence, devote that period to the reboot and get through a majority of it during that period, that way you wouldn't have to wait to long hopefully.

Also I haven't finalized my decision on this but I am highly considering it.
