I just want to make a special announcement, Catch Me If You Can will be uploaded to Tumblr in an attempt to expand my audience a little. I ran into an issue with uploading there before with my previous format, which is why the new pages will be utilizing a strict 8.5 x 11 size. I like the set up Tumblr has where the pages can be put together and want to try it out. I plan to continue releasing pages here as well but I want to make a special offer there, so if you would like to read this comic, it will be updated a week earlier over there than here. I may release Solarshadow and Shining C. there as well, but for now I only plan to release Catch Me If You Can there.

A long waited promise has been finished, with the reboot of Catch me If You Can! Been asked about this and I originally wanted to release this earlier but decided to postpone it a little while longer. I am extremely happy how this first page came out and I hope you guys are happy with it as well. Everything I set out to achieve was achieved and I think this is one of the best pieces I have ever made in regards to presentation. This also has something else new I would like an opinion on, that being the format. Normally, I really couldn't care less what the dimensions of the comics are, usually just caring more about the layout. However for this, I made an effort to keep the dimensions at 8.5 x 11 (for the page itself, the logo changes it some). The reason for this is I am wondering if this presentation would look nicer, more consistent, that sort of thing. That and I want to release to other platforms like Tumblr, but I ran into a snag relating to the dimensions in other sites when I did try that. So for these pages I want to make them all 8.5 x 11 dimensions. I think it will look more professional too and will offer good practice for my original work as well (as I am very paranoid about the dimensions for those stories).

Like before, Red will be including a Journal entry to every page, I got out of the routine of doing that but I want to include it as I feel like it added a lot of lore, which this new version will be utilizing a lot.

Red's Journal: The Kanto Johto War
The War between Kanto and Johto started when Kanto wanted to annex the neighboring region, believing that the resources of that region were a vital asset and the region needed to be industrialized before it could be fully used. Attempts at a peaceful resolution were unsuccessful, as Johto was a proud region that held their culture, natural landmarks, traditions and beliefs very strongly, they actively apposed these changes and there was no changing their minds. I was very young at the time, so I recall very little personally about the incident. Child like innocence I guess, even during my adventure, I tended to... avoid it, whether intentionally or not I can't really say. Looking at the whole thing now, I can't say I'm proud of it and since becoming champion, the whole thing has left a bad taste in the mouth of pretty much everybody. Recently though, a relic of the past has reemerged. During the conflict, the legendary Pokemon of the region opposed the changes as well, holding similar values, and proved to be formidable. So... a project went underway. One that would be able to deal with that problem. I don't know how to feel about that either... but... today... Mewtwo has returned. That... I do know how to feel about. I know I must be the one to deal with this. Nobody else can, nobody else should, nobody else can! I am going to deal with this because I want to. It has to be me.

One other thing, The war Red talks about is the Kanto Johto war, which many of you are probably aware of, it's a fairly well known fan theory. It basically says that Kanto was in a war prior to the events of Red and Blue. I don't want to go into great, as I'd rather have the story itself cover the details about the conflict. Personally I don't know if the theory is necessarily true, there's some noticeable holes in it (which will also be addressed here), but I find the lore that gets created very, very interesting and wanted to explore. Technically the war element was in the original too... but it was under played and I really regretted that. I thought it should have been a much more focused on element. I hope you guys like the story and are excited for more! I know I am!

I'll update the previous, next soon, haven't decided on the schedule quite yet.
