Blender 2.69: modeling of railways and rolling stock (ordinary wide gauge rolling stock, scaled here to 1:48 scale)
Poser 10: partial scene composing (characters and clothes)
Octane Render 3.04.5: final scene composing, materials setup and rendering
Paint.NET 4.0.13: signature adding and minimal postwork on some polygon issues

Those tracks and trains are made according to latest Home Fantasy Inhabitants Safety Standards
so there are no bare conductive parts, all rolling stock is powered using high capacity built-in rechargeable batteries and remotely contolled using IR or RF channels

В принципе в такой габарит (O = 1:48) можно и тормоза и датчик препятствий и еще много чего уместить... благо, что любая схема управления легко делается в наши дни на 1 микросхеме и прошивке для нее

So that's why my gremlin fairies had their faces plastered to the window at the local Macy's holiday window train exhibit.
They even had a touch activated panel that would let you control the trains too.
