Description - Are you going to start soldering it?  I've placed and carefully aligned all these tiny parts... but you... just looked and smiled!
- You know, it's so pleasing to watch someone working!

LEDs models are from fav.me/d6035kc
they aren't perfect, because were made long time ago, when I didn't know Blender's features well...
Other parts appears also in that gallery: pnn32.deviantart.com/gallery/4…

Very nice

"Be careful not to wound your bare feet with the pins of chips lying around, sweetie..."
Reminds me when I was playing with electronics, long time ago...
Very well done: awesome scene.

Bare feet?!  No protective gloves and anti-static strap?  Oh nooo...   ...but working with such parts like sockets should be OK

P.S. Electronics.. yeah...  right now I'm fixed firmware code of some device.. the developer of protocol library sincerely hoped, that response from remote device will arrive just in time... but real world isn't perfect world, so some last bytes of response were typically late and disappear without trace

Oh man I totally could use an assistant of that size when trying to hand-solder some of those    tiny specks of resistors/capacitors/LEDs on stuff.

I've soldered some 0805 and 0603 (1.6x0.8mm) SMD caps on breadboard a couple of days ago.. it was incredible trial for steady hand and sharp eye (as always)

Oh gods, yeah, I haaaate those flyspec sized things. There were times when I screamed "how come there's no gluestick or dropper for these little s**ts so I can keep them still while poking them with a soldering iron!?"

pnn32 In reply to Skiriki [2015-10-07 10:34:08 +0000 UTC]

Just a sharpened matchstick or toothpick (wooden!) suits perfect for that task
And no poking with soldering iron is actually required - a hot air soldering station is much effective   (But some low-quality plastic parts like connectors can melt suddenly )

Yeah... where I was doing that ages ago, doing that was not an option Ah well, at least I don't have to suffer about it now
