This work looks like an photo with two realistic fairies...They are so threedimensional, that`s the reasion why you can believe they are real. You habe used a photo for the background and painted the fairies on it, or not? I really love the two fairies. They look so elegant and pretty and their wings are so wonderful with their pattern. I like the posture of both fairies, because they look so realistic

There is no background photo... all items in scene are 3D models with textures. There is actually a plane with curtain cloth (semi-transparent) texture with wall and window behind it.
Actually, I painted only textures (transparency maps) for dresses, and the render engine do the rest
Moreover, I often use techniques from artistic photography, such as DOF, soft lighting, color balancing and so on. Therefore resulting images looks so vivid and realisticΒ
