Description Name: Drake Ramsay
Race: Phoenix
Racial abilities: Usually long life span (about a hundred years or more), they reach manhood at a younger age, they have control over fire, and they fly using fire wings.
Unique abilities: Extreme control over his abilities, belongs to the royal family. He has enormous amounts of knowledge. He can manipulate flames at will and turn completely into a fire bird.

Thanks a lot, I had no idea you had liked it, makes me really happy but I guess that demonstrates how bad I am at creating a good character background story i couldn't win anything not even with your highest note XD Still hearing this make me just as happy as winning thank you!

I wasn't sure how you're gonna react to me telling you this, but took the risk just wanted to tell you how much I liked your character.
You had an almost perfect score in my judging which was 44 on 50 total. Your total score, though, was 68. It's not entirely because you're "bad at writing". Nexus was very strict about spelling, grammar, and most of all accuracy to his story's settings. The problem in my opinion is you basically didn't write much aside from the short description of the race, but nothing about the character and his background, so there wasn't much to judge. Another thing is that all creatures in Sphinx are humans and they live long as humans, and you said your OC lives about 100 years or more and didn't explain that to make it work.

But still, one of my favs!

Yeah, it's important to check out very closely what the artist is looking for and who they are as well. Nexus is a writer so pays a lot of attention to writing.

Hey Poch0010, my name is Cammaster1 and I also entered the SPHINX contest. The reason I'm telling you this is because I also did a phoenix as my characters race and I really like your design. However, Nexus may misunderstand your "eternal life" power as one that truly means he can live forever. Technically my character can live forever too but their is a certain nerf on this ability. Check out my characfters profile just to see the race abilities, you'll see what I mean.

P.S. I also did my character all in one day, weird.
