"Charlie why were you really at my door?"
This question pulled him out of his thoughts. He could say it was because he was worried of the person who he really cared about the most or that he had no other reason.
"Why do you want to know? What were you doing anyways?"
Alex said nothing. Charlie looked up to see his best friend. Alex was thinking. He knew because the beautiful boy had a way of biting his lip when in thought. The sounds coming out of his Guitar were getting slower and eventually stopped.
"I was thinking... You see I love someone but the relationship could never be real. That person doesn't even know ..."
"Then how can you know they could not love you back? Tell her and then see what happens... And how could anybody resist you anyways?!"
Charlie blushed. Did he really say that out loud? He hoped Alex didn't see his face.
"Love, I just know the person won't like me. And how do you propose I tell them I love them?"
Charlie saw this question has a big risk. If he acted out how he would do it he would probably kiss Alex. He couldn't control himself.
"Come on you know I'm no good at that!"
"No I want to hear you!"
"Alex ... I love you! For a long time I look at your face I want to kiss it. Every time we're together in public I would love to scream that your mine and that nothing could change that. I want to see you off to bed with a kiss. When you wake up I want to see you and be able to say your beautiful! I love you and it will never change ..."
Charlie was finally free. He told him. He used all of his muscles not to crush Alex flat on the bed and kiss him.
"Wow Charlie that's a great way to tell a girl you love her! I don't get why you don't get dates!"
Charlie felt like a block of cement had just crushed him. All this time he had waited for the perfect time to tell him his feeling and he thought it wasn't true...
"Alex ... I don't get dates because I've never wanted to go out with anybody but you!"
