"Charlie could we talk?"

"Ed would you take Frank to that stand over there?"
Ed, Tom and Frank walked away.
"Charlie I need to tell you something… I need you to stay here and never walk away till I'm finished. I realized it the moment we meet but never said anything… Everyday I want to wake up to one single lopsided grin, one set of hands, one pair of beautiful blue eyes and most of all one incredibly bid and loving heart! Charlie I loved you the moment we meet and will love you till the world end. I was lying… I don't want to stay till the end of this but I want you to stay with me till the day I die…"
Alex had started crying and had trouble seeing the boy he loved so much. He felt a pair of lips brush his and eventually push against them. A set of arms snaked around his waist and pulled him further into the embrace.
"Alex you really are a great storyteller … I love you Alex and I promise I will never leave."

Frank and Alex where sitting in a park near the flat. It was summer but clouds still crowded over the skies of London.
"Mum is never going to come back is she?"
"I'm sorry Franky… I don't think so…"
"Is it bad if I like it here better? I mean if I like mommy Charlie and you more than her?"
"It's perfectly fine Frank. You know me and Charlie love you very much."
"I love you daddy …"
Frank cuddled up to Alex who put his arms around him. He thought of the child as his own and would never give him up.

They used to keep you sometimes… about two to three months a year and did things … Bad things to keep you alive. They loved you so very much but they couldn't do anymore. Life at home had become very rough and that's why you have all those memories of yelling and the bruises and you're arms and back…" Charlie who was still not convinced it was the right time to tell him started to cry, their son was only 14 after all! Alex took his boyfriend's hand and continued. "She came to our house and asked us if we would keep you. And that's how you became our little baby… I'm sorry this had to happen to you but we felt you should know the truth about yourself. We are so sorry we couldn't save you before…"
"Dad its fine… I know you couldn't have anyway. I love you so much! You're my real parents now no matter what happens!"
