"Tom …" Edd sat down beside the sleeping boy. He slowly turned to face is flatmate but never actually opened his eyes. "Sorry to bother you love but it's your birthday and I have a quick birthday gift for you." Tom opened his eyes in a flash bringing a big smile to his face. Tom loved presents and he loved Edd so he couldn't help but be happy. Cuddling to Edd he asked "What is it?" Edd laughed at the question and answered
"Do you know how old you are Tom?"
"Well yeah … I am now officially 22 years old." He grinned.
"Then you have 22 wishes from me. You can ask for 22 things I will do for you. What would be your first wish birthday boy?"
Tom thought long and hard about his first wish than said in a soft sweet voice "Can the first one be to cuddle with you in my bed so I can sleep for a while."
"Sure it can!" Edd scooped his friend up and laid him back on his bed. He laid carefully beside him. Tom closed the space between them and closed his eyes. "Thank you Edd, it's an awesome birthday gift." Tom immediately fell asleep but it took Edd a couple of hours. 'This is a great start for my wishes …'
When they woke up it was noon.
"I've decided my second wish is that you will carry me to the kitchen and make me a beautiful breakfast!" Tom smiled up to his flatmate.
"Well I've already made breakfast and would have carried you there anyway but okay you can use that as a second wish." He answered picking the blue haired boy in his arms like a baby.
"That's not fare! You should have told me!" trying to frown but smiled as he sank in Edd's grip. His flatmate sat him on a chair and brought slightly cold pancakes to him. Tom dug in and grinned as he tasted the great meal.
"Edd you're very good at cooking! It's delicious!"
"And you're good at eating! But thank you Tom! It means a lot to me!"
Tom laughed and eat all his plat very fast making sure not to leave a crumb on it.
"What do you want to do of your day?"
"Is Bacon here?" He asked thinking of something that would make him very happy.
" No love … He went to see his mom today! But he'll come back around 8 o'clock."
"Than I have a great couple of wishes for you! First we will pick me up!" Tom said in a sweet but bossy tone. Edd did as he was told and picked his friend back up.
"Tell me how you feel about me."He asked.
"You're my best friend Tom! I love you with all my heart and would do anything to have you in my life for ever."
"Now you will let me do this …" Tom kissed Edd and was delighted when the young man pushed back at him. They kissed for a long time but Tom was just getting started…
