"Do you mind?" Ed asked Tom who was sitting on the couch.
"Yes!" Tom answered spreading himself even more on the sofa. Tom was smiling indicating to his flatmate that it was play time. The brunette sat on top of his stomach. A small giggle irrupted from Tom and a small gasp.
"If you're going to do that could you just lay beside me?"
Ed started to obey but quickly jumping off and walking out of the room. He couldn't stand being so close to his secret love with out giving in to the desire.
"What's wrong?" Tom asked whirly hoping he hadn't done something to upset his best mate.
"Nothing… Do you want tea?!" answered Ed trying to stay calm and natural.
"No thank you." The blue haired boy responded.
Ed tried to busy himself by putting water in the kettle and starting it. Looking on the shelves for his mug he turned stock still has he felt skinny arms snaking around his waist. From the side of his left eye he could see flashes of blue hair. It felt so right to be in Tom's arms, in his comforting grip. The sent of his shampoo made Ed smile.
"What's wrong Edward?" He asked sweetly. It was weird to hear his name uttered by someone else than his family. Tom rested his head on Ed's shoulder waiting for an answer.
"Just scared …" He finally whispered.
"I promise nothing will ever happen to you while I'm around… You're mine now and nothing can change that." Ed turned to face him and smiled.
"Tom … I hope you never go … and that you'll always be beside me." He mumbled before kissing him with all of the emotions he had carried along for a long time. The blunette cupped his face with his hand.
"Wanna go back to the couch or my bed?!" Tom asked grinning.
"MY bedroom." Ed declared after a moment. He took the boys hand and walked to his bedroom, softly closing the door behind them.
