What had Tom been thinking?! We didn't he put his one flatmate as emergency contact? Ed though they were closer than that. Since they had moved in together they had been closer than ever. They had shared a bed nights where Tom had mad dreams. They had both taken care of each other when they were sick. A hug had never been refused in their friendly relationship. But a couple of months ago it had all changed. Tom has gone a lot and never really took the time to talk to the latter anymore. The blunette would get up at the brake of dawn pack up his stuff for the day and leave. Edd would prepare him a diner for when he got home but most of the time Tom just locked himself in his room and come out later to wash up and go to bed. He had tried leaving hints to Tom but the guy never picked up on them. Charlie had taken over Tom's life. Edd had started slowly hating Charlie and everything he meant to Tom. He had known his best friend way before Charlie had been in the picture and he found it unfair that all he knew had to change for him. Why was Charlie so important anyway?! Charlie never wrote a song for his flatmate or waited outside the bathroom while Tom threw up! He had never stayed home instead of going to a gig because the blunette was sick! It was unfair that Charlie had been getting all the attention while Edd had done all he could have to get a glimpse his way. Edd had thought of asking Tom to spend a day with him but he never found a time alone to ask him. That morning right after Tom left; Edd got on his mac and started writing. He found it was easier to say in an email then face to face.
"Hi Tom ... I've wanted to talk to you for a long time now! I have to ask mate ... Do you hate me? I know you live with me and everything but you never come home in day light! You seem to be with Charlie all the time! What do you find to him anyways! He's just a shit load of crap! I mean I do everything for you to just look at me for a second and he does nothing and you're all over him! Does he know you're a fag or what? I'm pretty sure he would run away screaming if he knew what you are! I'm always here for you but you're not there for me! Tom when you come back you have two days to pick up your stuff and go! You're not welcome here anymore! Don't look for me and don't ever talk to me again! You can go run of with your beautiful Charlie for the rest of your life!"
Edd felt good about the email. It was a good way to let his anger out. He never wanted to see tom ever again! He knew he would melt down and fix things with him if they met again. Edd could never stay mad when he looked in tom's cute face. "Edd it's over! Click the send button and get rid of your suffering forever! You don't even have to look for the guy! His not your responsibility now! It's Charlie's turn to feel the pain of losing Tom. Edd you don't care anymore! Move on!"With tom gone he could finally move one to someone else! But Edd got out his phone and texted Alex's girlfriend to say Charlie was going to need help. He knew Alex would be worried about Tom too. Edd might have hated Charlie he was never going to let Alex down. He was the only best friend Edd had left!
