Secret Stories Part 1

"Charlie! Come! I have to show you something!"
Alex sounded terrified. And to that matter he was. What was he reading?! It was so strange so different from everything he had read before.
"Charlie are you coming?!"
"Yes Alex! Could you wait two seconds!?!"
Alex had grown impatient. He was about to cry out the Charlie should really hurry when the flatmate crossed the door frame. Charlie was in a state of undress: no shirt and unbuttoned jeans. Alex was used to seeing like that after he woke up but it was eleven o'clock so it felt strange to brunette.
"What do you want?!"
Charlie sounded mad but Alex barely noticed the tone in his latter's voice.
"Read this! Why do you think he had this in his bag?"
Alex was handing a paper to Charlie. He took it and at the same time asked who do you mean 'he'?"
Charlie didn't need an answer after reading the first to lines of the paper he knew they were talking about Tom. Tom Milsom: the beautiful friend they both shared. Charlie carried on reading and found himself smiling at the end.
"Alex I've never seen you to that way but I have to admit it's pretty cute! But what were you saying about Tom having this?"
"Last week when I went over to his place I found it in his bag!"
"Alex it's probably a freaky fan who sent it to him. He just never had time to throw it out or something!"
The red head read the story over and over again. It was a romantic story really but it was weird picturing the two kissing. Charlie knew he had to say something to help his friend but he didn't know what exactly to say.
"Just forget it! It's like all the other people who send us stories about you and me being in a relationship. After a while you get used to it."
"Yeah I know they write stuff about us but Tom and me?"
He was never going to admit it to anyone but he had read the story about fifty times. He could easily see tom and him in these oddly romantic stories. He smiled at the idea that Tom could have read this and liked it.
"And how do you want me to forget it for tonight?! Don't you remember I have my super awesome night thing with him!"
Alex had spent weeks planning this day! They had everything planned. They knew what they were going to do minute by minute. It was special to them and the brunette couldn't even think of cancelling it.
"Oh sorry mate I forgot that! Ahah I still can't believe you two gave a name to your date!"
"Charlie! It's not a date! That would be too ..."
Alex had been cut off by the ring of their phone. Charlie sprang for the bed to reach the phone first. But when he saw who was calling he went blank.
"Alex I think this is for you! It's Tom."
"I don't want to talk to him!"
"Fine but I'm putting him on speaker!"
With that Charlie picked up the phone and answered.
*(phone conversation)*
Hi mate!
Hi Charlie! Is Alex home?
*Alex was making massive no signs to Charlie.*
No sorry love his not home! Do you want to leave a message?
No actually I wanted to talk to you.
But why did you want to know if Alex was here than?
Has he been acting weird lately?
Hrm well he's impatient for tonight if that's what you mean...
No I mean strange in a strange way.
Oh no not really why?
Can I come over? I can't really explain it over the phone.
*Alex had gone wild. The brunette was making frantic waves and mouth gestures. Charlie was trying to make sense of what Alex was doing but got the wrong idea.*
Sure...  you can ... come over
Charlie are you okay?
Hrm yeah fine but you should really hurry up because Alex is coming back in two hours.
Actually I'm already two blocks away! I was going to do a surprise visit!
Alex jumped off the chair and pounced on the phone awkwardly finishing their conversation.
*(End of phone conversation)*
"What did you not understand of my signs?!?"
"Oh! I'm sorry for not understanding your stupid signs!" Charlie screamed mimicking what his flatmate had been doing.
"Oh sorry ... " The brunette felt angry at himself for being so mean at Charlie. He was only trying to help.
"It's fine ... But Alex you have to hide real quick! He can't know you're here!
