This is exactly how I feel Ruby and Yang's "reunion" will go. Sadly, this is a case of both sides have a point.
Yang is reasonably concerned and rightfully pissed, here: Ruby's on a (to an outside observer) pointless suicide mission, there is no way in hell Ruby could (even with six-to-eight months of level grinding in the wilds of Remnant) reasonably defeat Cinder, Team RWBY is dead beyond repair as far as Yang's concerned, and Ruby's best chance of living a full life before Cinder decides to pay a visit to Signal is back on Patch. Ruby also added to Yang's abandonment issues by leaving virtually unannounced.
Ruby, however, is also right: they cannot ignore Cinder, and letting her rampage across Remnant unopposed will divide and destroy the kingdoms, and mankind will be destroyed by the Grimm with no safe place to live. Furthermore, they need all of the Huntsmen and Huntresses they can get. The fact that Yang came out here ready to fight proves she's not completely given up on humanity.
Still, this is the genuine first time Ruby and Yang have come to physical blows with weapons drawn. It's Civil War, but on a smaller scale.

I beg to disagree. It doesn't have to be the undisputed Ruby Vs. Yang battle of all time. So long as you give it your best shot I say go for it. Monty, himself, once said that as long as you keep putting effort into improving and moving forward it is worth it. (I am paraphrasing).

For a long time I had great ideas, but didn't put them into anything because I thought I sucked, and from a skill level perspective I kinda do, but I realized that if I stop before I ever start I'll always suck. So I've started posting my work, and little-by-little I'll improve, though I still have a LONG way to go.
It was Monty who inspired, not just me, but probably, no definitely, a lot of people to just go for it, to at the very least try and use that experience to grow and learn. Nothing you ever do will be perfect, but if you let that stop you, you'll never have done anything and all those creative thoughts will go to waste. That's kind of why this site exist. For artist to grow, share, and inspire.
sorry if I sound a little preachy, I just felt like I should say that.

Really wish that I had made my three shot that continued onto Volume 4 like this. But I always struggle and choke when it comes to emotions and things like that.

well look at it for yang's point of view not only she lose her arm but she lost it protecting someone who left her when she needed her the most ( I know Blake carried yang to safety I'm talking about yang's recovery) and yang for the 6-8 months was wondering what the point of living anymore is

good point... but there "might" (and put emphasis on might) some possible that during those 6-8 months period, she saw something so gruesome and traumatized that Ruby will act aloof all the time to hide the fact she terrified of what she saw. Not seem likely... but it's possible.

It's so frustrating to watch them fight, it's like they've both vbeen through some things that you understand why they would feel the way they do but then you're like Nooo fighting is not the way and then at the same time you're like ooo actually maybe a little fight would be cool I'm kinda curious to see what new tricks they whipped up

its tragic to think that yang is going to fight what she wants to protect, but I can see that she's just looking out for her. but to be far ruby has a safe life. Weiss's family is hated and if she steps outside she could be beaten, killed or even tortured, blake is a fones...fvonves (I don't know how to say or spell it), fvoves (oh to hell with it) FURRY!!! and she'll discriminated any time any where, and yang has just been disarmed, ridiculed and hurt. OOHHH but I bet rooster teeth is going to pull something tragic and horrible for ruby. I'm not sure but I bet it has the initials SR or QB, because she hasn't sailed the tragic boat, drove the torture kart, and the rid the pain train.

It's even more sad that Yang is feeling betrayed by her whole team. I mean, Blake AND Ruby both left her, and Weiss was pulled away.

Ahaha yeah, it's a strange feeling to see yang go through so much only to fall right back down and pretty much see the team break apart D: honestly I'm not sure what story writers are thinking but if they do plan on hurting Ruby in some way my hope is that she will make a greater better comeback then and hopefully bring the team back together again

this is how I think volumes 6 and 9 will go
6: ruby found cinder and met salem, she saw uncle qrow die, ozpin and salem told her the truth about her mother, she awakens the silver eyes more time, salem beats her, she gets her left arm cut off and receives a permeant scar by cinder. Weiss made it in time and saved ruby at the last second. salem and cinder leave because cinder took too much damage, Weiss and the others get her on an atlas jet and start operating on the way to a hospital. yang located blake, they have a physical and emotional fight, they make up and come back together. because yang lost her scroll after a battle, she found it again and sees that shes got 256 texts and 193 calls from Weiss. they're terrifying, crucial and shocking, it took yang and blake 4 days to reach the hospital but ruby has been sent home so that she can wake up in a stable environment. ruby wakes up slightly while Weiss and jaune sit by her side, seeing her uncles weapon, her broken crescent rose and her dismembered left arm. yang and blake get to the house, her farther hugs her and asks her where shes been and blake stays down stairs as yang runs to her sisters room. after and deep conversation, team ruby regroup and become one again.
9: they have beaten salem but blake's injuries are fatal and she wont make it in time, they hold hands one last time, whilst blake thanks them for being her friends and that she regrets leaving them and hurting them. they scatter her ashes the same place we saw her in her trailer, as the remaining team rwby members cry with yang having her bow on her arm as a sign that's she's always with her. yang goes the air port, starting her journey around the world, saying her goodbyes to ruby, her dad, and her mom. weiss is standing over her sisters grave, seeing the humanity in her farther as he cries at winters grave with weiss crying out of her right eye (because she lost her left eye). and its ruby standing over her mothers grave, with jaune walking towards her and it ends with a kiss. its been 9 years shes reading a book to her daughter robin (based on robin hood), who wears a green hood, sending her off to sleep by her sister jeaney's side (ok now its how you pronounce the "J" is jaune but just but use the ennie in Jennie), she goes to sleep next to jaune and on her night stand is a photo of team rwby.
and that's its...unless they continue it with new characters, new villains and new problems.

but still monty was a smart writer, his work in unpredictable and even the most hard core of rwby fans could be wrong, but I'm proud of the outcome never the less. and that's all that counts

the way i understand it is that monty created the story and maybe most of the characters
however i feel like he made a list of events that he wanted to happen in rwby but then the one behind actually writing how those events happen, the ones who write those details and episodes are the ones who ruined this show for me
but then again its just my opinion and im not trying to push it on to you DX its just that the show frustrates me so

well honestly ever since I heard the series was ending in volume nine (not sure but I still think other wise), I always thought about the ending and I'm sorry for that...crappy ending I thought of and you were right it was..bad. but I keep thinking about and I try to think about the other volume but THE END AND MORE...just keep coming up. I think of potential character, new enemies...heck I don't think salem is the last enemy. but that's what the theory's are for right? I still think romans words "its not what I have to gain but what I can't afford to lose", might show that he has a lover or child to look after. or I think that line "i want to believe you" might be used by yang if she sees blake again, or maybe it was ozpin who made summer fight salem. but there are so many possibilities a both love it and hate it. that's the thing about rwby, its complicated, good and should be classified as an anime, some anime are 3d like berserk and I know it has animated scenes but that a fraction of its true animation. I really hope there are some good answers in volume.

well essentially the moon in my opinion IS DUST; a giant ball of unbelievably powerful dust. dust can be fused into ones body, so ruby's ancestors might of been like "salem is just too powerful and there are too many grimm" a meteor shower of moon dust (not actual dust, the crystal) and they fuse it into themselves, turning their eyes silver and they didn't kill but they pushed back salem and the grimm. so for many generations the power gets weaker and weaker (because ozpin said its a "rare trait", because their are only so many silver eyed warriors the gene gets weaker), and ruby is the last, and only (until a spin off series) member of the rose clan and silver eyed warriors...I wonder if she has a grandma on her side of the family (probably not, monty probably wated us to have less leads and so that not everything is explained)
