Poderiu, really sorry about all the retards in the comments. Like I said in November, what is up with him being a marine?
When I see people like those who posted comments here, I really wish America would just be blown up. It's full of awesome, talented and nice people, but people like the ones in the comments outweight them

Oh... my... god. How retarded are you people? The picture is about how the US military is used for illegal terroristic acts and wars around the world! And only thing you can say is "Deeeuuugh! He's not from the Army, he's a Marine! Marines are awesome! They die for our country!"
God dammit, who gives a shit? A soldier, conscript or anyone else could has been on the picture, its not about marines, you idiots!

I've read almost all of the comments to this picture, and I must say that America is not in a War with the countries! America is at war with terrorism. And as I mentioned before...just take the picture off of DA. All it is doing is insulting all of the men and women who risk their lives everyday so some others can sit on the asses and type stupid comments and arguements like the ones on here. I am not trying to call everyone lazy who have put arguements about this picture on here...I agree with the arguements. I just think poderiu should just take it off of DA. Unless of course he/she is one of those people who get an amusement out of a down-grading agruement about our military men and women serving!

Freedom of speach is a sacred thing in a democracy. I will not remove this picture or any other just because you donΒ΄t agree with it.
Speaking about terrorism, if you go to my gallery you can see much more pictures alluding to terrorism like, for instance, the barbaric terrorist acts comited by Us in Iraq since 2003 where almost one millions iraqui civilians where assassinated. Fallujah, in Iraq, is an example of serious war crimes and terrorist acts commited by US troops.
No only in Iraq, much more terrorism was commited by the USA, just read some decent history and there are countless terrorist atrocities comited by USA in many countries in Latin America.

I did not say you should remove it just because I did not like it. Obviously you like the arguements. Also, I am sure that those civilians were just murdered to be murdered. I know that there are some who are paid by the terrorist to shoot at the US Military so that they can feed their families. Yes it is a horrible thing, but it is life we live...and we all must suffer that. And I will not look at anymore of you photos in your gallery. It'll probably only piss me off more.

"is a terrible thing, but is the life we live"?! Are you serious? Instead of being pissed of about this poster, you should be pissed of about your corporate state, that is a terrorist state and profits from it. Before you call the others "terrorists", you should look at your own country and then, maybe, you would realize who are the terrorists. Drop the FOX News, and other corporate media - they are lying to people like you.

I dont ever fucking watch the news you dumbass! I get my information else where. And it seems to me like you're getting your information from the news or online as well, you have no clue about our country...you live in Switzerland...remember? Oh, btw, I am done talking, you are a HUGE waste of my time!

Why are so nervous and being so insultive?
I get my news from many sources. For instance the only country in the world being guilty by terrorism crimes was the United States by terrorist acts comited in Nicaragua, in 1986, by Ronald Reagan. The source is the International Court of Justice - the supreme judicial international organ.
Of course, it takes time to know this stuff, and of course you are not interested.

You constantly avoid the FACT that USA is a terrorist country and that is not a insult, is a matter of FACT. And I donΒ΄t have to live there to know Dick Cheney, Ronald Rumsfeld and others are profiteering from the inocent iraqi civilians killed and american soldiers in the name of oil, and other good business wich you donΒ΄t want to even ear about. You are a serious case of indoctrinated sheep by uncle sam. Even US soldiers are confessing what is happened in Iraq: [link]

Do you think the point of this image is to prove he is, or nor, a marine?
π: 0 β©: 1
SmittyInfinity In reply to poderiu [2011-03-17 17:16:24 +0000 UTC]
I think the image has some fundamental flaws where the text is concerned.
1)He is in the Marines, not the Army.
2)He does not have a combat action ribbon, which means he was not officially in combat. Even if he did, the odds that his shots or actions resulted in the death of an enemy combatant are extremely low because of the nature of the fighting going on.
3)Market expansion may not be the total evil you think it is. People need to make a living and feed their families. Is that evil?
π: 0 β©: 1
poderiu In reply to SmittyInfinity [2011-03-17 18:34:12 +0000 UTC]
Yes, the uniform is from the marines, not the army. That is a "flaw".
the third point: of course market expansion in the cost of lifes is "evil". You have specific case in Iraq: the profiteering made at the cost of almost one million dead iraqis, a country destroyed seems evil enough to me.

1. this is a US Marine, not Army
2. its not a good idea to post this under someone that has served

1. ItΒ΄s indiferent if it is a US Marine or from thr Army. This poster alludes to all that serves belicist US forein policies.
2. This person in the poster doesn t exist. The head doesnΒ΄t belong to the body.
3. Think when you see posts like this one.

That is a Marine... and the American military allows us to have the freedoms to mock them in this way. So, everyday you put something online that mocks the brave men and women who die for a country who doesn't really appreciate the fact that they are willing to... You should at least get the images and facts right... It really doesn't take that much effort on your part... I mean in comparison anyway!
Thanks... Sarrin Blackthorne (Proud daughter and mother of US Marines!)

I agree with you that this guy is a marine. But you also have to agree with me that your government uses US tax payers money to finance private companies, like security and weapons companies, and also uses the money to send men and women to ilegal military occupations in order to serve US private corporate interests, and that is happening in Iraq, for instance. I donΒ΄t support the killing of more than 1.000.000 innocent people in Iraq, more 1.000.000 refuggies and the destruction of a country based of false justifications "Iraq has weapons of mass destruction" - claim the Bush and Cheney government.

poderiu said, and then hid the comment: "As usual your comments are so absurd for someone that has this self image of an informated person... Who cares about if the marine is smiling or not? Those are not the important issues in the image."
Just what are the important issue then and why did you hid your own comment?
Oh, and by the way, if I'm an 'informated' person what format am I in?

Soldiers follow a chain of command that gives orders. It is the politicians that are ultimately responsible for the bad foreign policy decisions that are made not the armed forces. I believe this picture unfairly lays the blame on Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines.

Your logic is correct, but you forget to mention that politian structure is atached to economical interests and lobbies. One example, the most recent one, is the invasion in Iraq. Many US companies (arms companies, food companies, construction companies, oil companies, security companies, etc) are profetering from that invasion. So fallowing that logic, of course soldiers are used has tools to serve the US economy best interests. That is why one of the sentences the image says is: "the expansion of our market depends on you".
