Description
It freaks me out a little when people I don't know give me LLAMA BADGES.IT DOES. Not like I'm...ungrateful, or whatever, but...a little freaked, yeah.
It's probably in part because I don't really get the llama badge craze...I never caught 'llama fever' (pfffft, sounds like the new swine flu or something
I guess people do it to get return badges...? But I don't think I've ever actually given any to even people I know, so...

EDIT: CUE SUDDEN INFLUX OF LLAMA BADGES FROM PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW!
Kidding, kidding. Who would have known that the best way to get llama badges was a stamp saying it freaks you out? I don't know whether to laugh or cry. >.>
Well...at least I'm getting a warning, now?

It's all good though when they send points along with their llamas.

Just makes me think 'Pretty sure you just want one back, or you're using it as an excuse to say 'Don't thank me for the llama, just watch me instead.' Um, no.

Llamas are cute XD and it's fun to upgrade your llama badges...it's like a little side quest in the RPG of deviantART, if you get what I mean.

I enjoy llama badges. I always imagine the exchange as people throwing tiny llama plushies at each other, and that amuses me.
I give strangers llamas sometimes with no warning. Usually it's because I find something about their profile/personality/gallery charming, but I don't have anything particular to say and don't necessarily want to watch them. I treat it sort of like poking or waving, or giving a thumbs up, I guess: if I llama someone out of the blue, it's just a way for me to give them some acknowledgement.

Same here! I never return llamas because I don't see the point. I guess the reason why people like llamas is because they're the DA version of pokΓ©mon cards.

Half seconded!
I'm not exactly freak out, I was just like...O_o"How the hell they found my profile page?" Cause I'm completely lower than a regular person. But yeah, I gave them the llama back.

I kind of assume they overuse the 'random deviant' tool. XD
I'm pretty sure that I've yet to use the llama feature on dA, rofl. Just seems kind of superfluous and creepy to me.

Hahaha.. well it's depend on each people's point of view, I think.
I admit it kinda fun, tho' I'm not obsessed by it.
I gave them as gratitude sign, cause my first llama was been given to me as a gratitude too. I'm doing the same gesture.

I do that just with people that faved my art.
But some of them fav a lot of art and then they forget that they faved my art, wich is natural, and come to my gallery to ask why i gave them XD

Llama flu!
"I guess people do it to get return badges...?"
Well, mostly, yes. xD
Lol. I feel the same as you. I would rather like to get a comment instead of tiny, useless badge

Yeah, I don't usually give a Llama badge to someone unless I know them and are friends. XD I only do it to random people for the points thing there is. I have 60 points so far.

Like I understand sending them to friends to be funny but ending them to people you don't know just hoping to get a badge in retun is abit creepy.
