Some time ago at the jaimexbrienne lj comm we had an AFfC reread that focused on - duh! - Jaime and Brienne, which included all their chapters plus a couple of Cersei ones. I made headers illustrating each chapter, so here they are all together.
Notes: Jaime is clean shaven in the vigil pic because I was sure Cersei had him cut his beard at the end of ASoS, but it actually doesn't happen (which pleases me beause I like bearded!Jaime more, but that's just me). Unfortunately natural media doesn't have any ctrl+z, so the evidence of my lack of attention is there to see for the posterity.

Wellll you know, a lot of people complained about ADwD, but I didn't find it that bad. I think its main problem is that three characters alone take up half of the chapters, which could have been trimmed down - it's kind of evident that there hasn't been much time for editing. But I also think that when it's good, it's VERY good; one of the POVs is, imo, literally one of the best story arcs Martin has written since book one. Now I'm already craving the next one, though D:

Thanks! In an ideal world where I have lots of time and I'm possibly paid to do it I would do it for all the chapters of all the books... but even narrowing it down to my favorite characters was a fun thing to do!

Love this set! The book seems to be boring, too long (I believe cutting away part of it would help it), but seeing this set reminds that indeed a lot has happened there. I really liked their plot and can't wait for teh answers hidden in ADWD on my shelf (or maybe more questions, haven't red it yet and do not tell me!). I like your other ASOIAF artworks, but this is for me the best

Your bearded Jaime is spot on! though I imagine him with longer hair when he's back at court.

I love the way you draw Brienne and post-onehand Jaime (I am so digging his beard right now 
Especially Brienne. Often I see other artists make her too beautiful or just turn her into a man. I never particularly saw her as hideously ugly or actually-kinda-pretty, just very homely/plain. The only other concept of Brienne that I thought was spot on was a piece by quickreaver. So far only two artists on DA can get her look right. Good on ya.
