A few details about her Veratis additions:
Gold's jewelry is copper with verdigris and two opal gems, a bigger one near the loins, and a smaller one at the base of the mane.
Her guardian is a dragon that breathes white flames, hence why her eyes turn white when she breathes fire.
Her control over both fire and metal keeps her little copper sphere from melting even with the constant flame burning inside.

It just kind of happened xD I thought it would be cute if she had a "pet-flame" haha.
The dragon guardian allows your horse to have dragon eyes and breathe fire, so I thought it would be cool if her eye color changed accordingly as well.
Terpsichore has earned her laurels now, so I'll be revealing them soon (working on a headshot piece of her to show them off) :3 Amara already comes with the whole package, since she's one of the foundation horses, although I haven't really revealed some of her details, like the wings from her guardian. I'll be working on her soon(ish) too

I think the best ideas appear without forcing.
So maybe it is just good that you're taking the time needed with these things so that you'll come up with something epic like this.
My Cavittos have a "bad" habit to develop their personalities and stories while I draw them.
If I had something planned on them before drawing them, it will most likely to change during the drawing process...

Definitely! I never really have everything planned with my characters. Not even their personalities. They just show me want they want to be all of a sudden, usually when I'm walking back home from work xD Seriously, Amara's character and basic story just popped into my head when I was going home from work once!
So it's not just your Cavittos, ALL my characters are this way, and to be honest, I don't think any of them has stuck to what I had initially planned out for them. Even my oldest characters. Memoria, for instance, was created 8 years ago and only last year did his full personality reveal itself to me. Alcor and Adhara's story has changed so many times now too, what I have planned for them now is nothing like I had when I started out drawing them.
