I thought that hey, since Zeus didn't want them around anymore, some of them could just devote themselves to other gods, right? Especially someone like Asar, whose first interaction with the gods of Olympus was to be cast out and pretty much be left to die. He just doesn't see any reason to give them any attention when he was embraced by the Egyptian culture and their own gods since the beginning.
At this point, I'm pretty sure that it won't just be the Egyptian gods making a "guest" appearance in my storyline, considering the type of universe I have going for it. I basically keep on expanding things all the time xD

Ah, see that's a creative characteristic that I enjoy. It's definitely different. But hey, it makes sense. Why would you continue to worship a deity that essentially left you for dead over something that just wasn't as big of an issue. I'd thought about branching out into a part of a storyline for one of my own horses, where they aren't sure about going back to their greek god/goddess that they want to essentially be with, or to go follow a different egyptian god/goddess that would treat them just as kind if not kinder. However, I never really had a solid storyline thought out that would make sense of the sudden egyptian god/goddess being a thing in a greek centered breed, you know?

But hey, kudos for being willing to branch out to other mythologys! Adds a lot of creativity to your characters, which, as a writer, I'm always a big fan of. Diverse characters.

Thanks! For someone looking from the outside, it may not make much sense, but yeah, the kind of universe I have going for them allows for these things, so why not take advantage of it, right?
I'm really looking into having a bunch of diversity among my Cavittos, even though they're all inserted in the same storyline. Their thoughts about the Gods/the Fall/etc. differ a lot between them, and I think it makes everything more interesting ^^ The point of the system is to help your Cavitto go back home to the Gods, but you're not forced to stick to the system completely. I highly doubt Asar will be going up any levels as I don't plan to send in any updates since he's not out to please the Greek Gods, so rewards from them won't make sense.
It also allows me to play with certain details, like how the humans will try to decorate Asar in gold and jewels, and won't be able to because of his origins as a Cavitto. If he hasn't earned the right to wear his jewelry in the eyes of the Greek Gods, then such things will remain forever unavailable to him (not that he minds, it will be just very disappointing for the Egyptians to not be able to decorate their precious pony with pretty things lol).

I'm a bit of hoarder right now because all my plans are sitting in the backstage waiting to be released for everyone to see, so it looks like I have a bunch of pons around collecting dust xD Nothing wrong with that though!

Hehe, Hieratika and Hieros started it all, and then I specifically bred Asar to catch this ID because it's one of the dates that Pharaoh Amenhotep III is believed to have started his (very prosperous) reign. I wanted to breed a pon and when I went to check on the next ID available and searched for significant happenings related to the year, I decided it was a sign that it was time to finally breed this particular baby <3
I'm so excited to start sharing the ideas behind this clash and the impact it will have in these Cavittos' lives (and also explain everything better, because I wanted to keeps things a bit vague for now so as not to spoil the plot). I have many pons with a variety of views on the fall, but this one is probably my favourite twist, and it'll allow me to expand on the type of world my Cavittos landed in even further.

I'm so happy you think he embodies all those things so well I know it's terrible to play favourites among my pons, but Asar has definitely stolen my heart in a very special way, so it thrills me that you think that

Just knowing that you got his ID # to line up so perfectly... yeah, he was definitely intended to be created as this special babe!
I'm really looking forward to learning all about your pones stories... especially this twist on the clash of mythologies.  No spoilers needed - I'm more than happy to wait and watch it all unfold.

I have a bunch of writing hidden in the depths of my sta.sh folders waiting to be illustrated, mainly the character introductions themselves. Some of them have been sitting there for 2 years already, I really need to throw myself at drawing all these images in my head!
It will be fun writing about the humans' frustrated attempts at decorating Asar with gold and gems, only to have them disappear into thin air as they touch his skin. No matter what he wants/thinks, he's still a Cavitto
