Third part of an art payment for omgitsacat of z0mbiekid 's girl A308 RAS One More Light .
Drawing this girl again (this time in my usual style) proved to be as fun as I thought it would be. Gradients are not really a traditional artist's best friend when applied to more or less complex areas like horse legs, but I can't help but love the challenge she is.
I actually recorded my progress colouring this one! My camera isn't exactly the best though, and I don't even have anything to use as proper support for it, buuuut I'm still going to post it some time c: If it goes well, I might end up investing into a better camera and setup later on and make an habit out of it.

Layers... lots of them. I usually start from the lightest colour and build up from there, going over the same area several times until everything blends in nicely. I'll be posting the video of the colouring process for this work soon, my camera is not the best so the quality isn't exactly the greatest, but hopefully it will still be able to show I go about colouring/shading my works. I can link you to it once it's posted, if you want?
