My boy Kleos being his usual "Oh, look how cute and innocent I am while I strip your mind of all its secrets" self.The bastard
Honestly, I think that dividing the paper in half and drawing this and "Snowfall" was one of the best ideas I've had in a while. I got a lot of creative juices flowing for some weird reason
These were just so fun and relaxing to make!I had forgotten how much I love doing headshots, actually!
Maybe I'll open commissions in this style

In addition to expression you did such beautiful job with colors and shading.
Drawing big and time-consuming works can be exhausting sometimes so it is good to know smaller works will relax and give new inspiration.

It'll be fun working on darker pictures of him while still portraying that innocent look, especially with Pathos acting completely crazy by his side
Yes, I wanted to draw something that would still look nice and up-to-par with the rest of my works, but that would be quicker and more relaxing to do, without having to worry too much about details. Then I remembered that working on a smaller piece would probably help me out with that. It will be fun working on headshots in this style for my other characters. And trying out new poses and perspectives as well.

Ok, not giving up the ideas so only option is squeeze more time for drawing - for example who needs to sleep?
Small drawings are just perfect because of the reasons you listed plus they give nice opportunity to try new tools and techniques!

Oh yes, if you were killing everybody because of sleep-deprivation then you couldn't be drawing... So it would definitely be lose-lose situation. And of course there would be other downsides also (like getting in prison) so maybe squeezing extra hours from sleeping isn't your cup of tea.
