Phew, it's done, finally! I told !Nyxen that I'd draw Nyx for her a while ago(a while is a very inaccurate way of putting it...).I didn't know how I wanted to draw her and all my attempts failed, none of them showed what I wanted and all ended up in the trash.
Full body pictures just didn't work for what I wanted and I started searching through one of my horse encyclopedias one day trying to find inspiration for a pose when I saw a quick pen sketch of a horse head with a really mad expression(I didn't go for the "really mad" here however). Inspiration just hit me, I closed the book and started sketching, it finally came out as I wanted.
I see Nyx as a truly fierce, beautiful and mysterious character. She's one respectful mare for sure
I simply love her.I'm very pleased with this work. My scanner worked nicely here, though it has its issues with grey...
I do realize her eye should be lighter, sorry about that.

I really like the muscles in the jaw and the wrinkles in the muzzle. You did a wonderful job on the shading, and the mane is beautifully shiny and flowy. The purple and grey is gorgeous, I love the eye.
