"I can't believe this! You're here!" Adhara looked young again, jumping in happiness and laughing loudly. "You..." She stopped suddenly, surprised that he had not yet shown any reaction. "Alcor?"
"I... I... I never thought you'd be so happy to see me." He closed his eyes and crystal tears began to fall. "After all I did, after all that happened, how can you give me such a reception?" Alcor opened his mouth in despair, letting the two feathers he had carried for so long, float gracefully until they touched the grass.
Adhara lowered her head and picked them. "We've spent so much time apart Alcor. Remember the promise we made after Zuni's death?" He turned his head away from hers. "We promised we'd never get separated again, we broke that promise, but we can always try again."
"I couldn't stand the pressure... seeing that dragon attacking us... I just panicked. Images of how Zuni died came to my head... I couldn't pull myself to reality again... I just ran away and left you..."
"Alcor" she pushed his mane with her teeth, trying to make eye contact, but he refused to look at her eyes. "I forgive you, I want to forget what happened. I was angry at you in the beginning but it wasn't worth it besides, I knew you'd come to find me and you did!"
"How will we be able to keep going on like all this just never happened?"
"We will just move on, what do you want me to say?"
Alcor faced her "How?"

They met, they talked and Adhara forgave Alcor. Alcor doesn't seem too convinced of the future that awaits them, it's Adhara how should be sad, but she isn't, so why is he though? Silly boy! 10 works after the very beginning and they're together again. It sure took some time XD

Yup! Adhara had returned to Zuni's grave after her search for Alcor, seeking courage to keep searching once again, but he found her before that and Zuni is now watching both of them.

Yay! ok, this turned a bit longer than I expected, well here's a cookie again!
