Somehow the old one has different expressions being given to the viewer. She looked more desperate, wounded and terrified, there was weight on Scar's body as he fell. Here she looks strong, determined and furious. The tears are barely visible, I thought they were scars, actually. Dunno what you're going for, just summing up what I deciphered.
