Mosskit and Pinekit playing mossball!!

Mosskit

The little ginger tabby would blink awake, her little tail already twitching with the sparking of a long day's worth of energy. She'd look around at her siblings nestled so close to herself and their mother, and then pulled herself from between two of her siblings, Pinekit and Frostkit. She looked around the nursery and noticed a morning light beginning to trickle in. Soon, she thought, squinting at the entrance to the den. Neither her or her siblings had been allowed outside yet, and that just plain sucked. Mosskit was strong! She could handle anything that came her or her siblings' way, and she could keep 'em safe just great! But she knew she wouldn't go far before being scolded and brought back to the den; there were like, loads of those adult cats out there! So she decided she'd just make do inside here; and so the clumsy little girl stumbled out of the nest and plopped down onto the ground beside it. Looking around, the ginger kitten would grin in delight as she realized that she was the only one awake, ma and her siblings were still asleep. So she walked halfway around the nest, and then that halfway back, and stopped, already bored. huh, I feel lonely now. So she scrambled back up and poked the first sibling she got in contact with. Seeing that it was Pinekit, she called out in a hushed tone, "Hey Pinekit, wake up, I'm lonely and I wanna play!"

Pinekit

Though the she-kit's voice was quiet, it was insistent and whine-y and woke up Pinekit quickly. The white and brown-furred tom blinked his eyes open, a paw crossing his face as Pinekit rubbed out the sleep dust that had formed. Mosskit stood before him, her eyes wide and glistening. His tail waved slightly at seeing his sister, though his expression said differently. Frowning, he lifted his head from Sunfrosts's tail and stood, his legs wobbling slightly. "What's wrong?", he meowed to Mosskit, joining her a few tail-lengths away from Sunfrost and their siblings.

Mosskit

"I'm bored," Mosskit whined as her brother asked her what was wrong. Being bored was a huge problem, because when Mosskit was bored she did things that made cats tell her to stop, like tugging on her father's tail once and getting reprimanded for that. Being punished wasn't fun for things she did alone, so Mosskit decided that she'd now try to do things with others that maybe wouldn't get her in trouble! "Come on, Pinekit, play moss ball with me!" The ginger she-kit tugged on her brother's fur and tried to lead him off of the nest. She'd probably scrape off a ball of bedding to use as the ball, it was so convenient for the game. You could play moss ball with anything, even not-moss!

Pinekit

Pinekit frowned again; playing moss ball with Mosskit was like playing tag with a badger. Even though, perhaps he could win this time. Perhaps... He shrugged, "Okay. But at least try to go easy on me. Moss ball looks hard." The white and brown tom bounded over to the pile of moss at the edge of the den and he lifted it up in his jaws, the taste odd and... dirty. But he didn't mind, instead focusing on the first serve. Tossing it in the air, he batted it with his paws towards Mosspaw.
