Here we go, I am officially unable to read OotP in more than 3 days ! Despite the annoyance of Harry's hormones and the lack of Dumbledurr's logic, it is a book I enjoy thoroughly.So here we are with a huge sketchdump ! Let's try to decrypt it :
James & Lily, Sirius before and after ;
Trollbledore, Cho, Marietta;
Malefoy's ass being kicked, Neville "BALLS OF STEEL" Longbottom ;
Zacharias, Hermione, Umbridge ;
Rita, Herp and Derp Weasley ;
Neville trying to be romantic ;
Harry & Luna, Augusta and Neville at St Mungo.
Did I mention Neville was badass ?

You interpretation of Umbridge is perfect. Seriously, perfect. She truly looks like how the book described her. Love how Augusta came out too.

I love this art style you went for here. It is still sketches of course but still foundations are just as important as the finished product.

You can put all the paint you want on your house, if it's not solid and not standing up, it's useless ^^

Wow, vos dessins ont toujours l'air si propres! Dites-moi, quels paramètres mettez-vous lorsque vous les scannez? Les miens sont toujours de très mauvaise qualité et pleins de 'bruit', si vous voyez ce que je veux dire. J'en ai marre de devoir toujours les re-dessiner sur photoshop, moi qui préfère la beauté simple des sketches au crayon! :[

Je passe l'image en Niveaux de Gris, dans réglages. J'utilise ensuite les niveaux ( Ctrl + L ) et ramene les curseurs de chaque bout dans la zone ondulatoire noire.
Quand le blanc est vraiment blanc et le noir pas trop cramé, je repasse l'image en couleur et y applique une texture ( par exemple [link] ) en mode Densité Linéaire

Non j'ai un scanner assez basique, je ne modifie rien dessus, il est toujours réglé en 300 dpi ^^

"Herp and Derp Wesley" are hilarious. I'm lovin' your take on all the characters. Especially Sirius and Umbridge have such distinct shapes.

Haha I always thought that "beautiful" characters are hard to do, thats why I prefer to do the old Sirius than the "young and sexy" one.

I think it's amazing that, when you draw a character, they don't just 'look' like them, they 'feel' like them... i think that's why, even though i pictured most of these characters differently than you do, I could guess practically all of them. Damn! This made me want to read some of the books again!

I have no idea. As I read the last book it just felt very rushed and with each page I knew she'd kill some one else. It was still a decent book, but she wrote better :/

I read the book only once in english, and as it was "the end of the end" it kinda traumatized me as a fangirl (and the death of one of my fav chara too, but I had already been spoiled about that).
So I kinda don't remember it very well, because I refused to re read it again, even in french.
The last movie hyped me, though, and I begun to read all of them, hoping to finish them before the second part comes out ^^ Maybe it'll cure me of my trauma ! But I refuse to give a single look to that stupid epilogue again...It was just too crappy.
