After being questioned a lot of times (even by close friends of mine) if I had gotten implants, and after a LOT of thought on the subject of "should I post something like this?" I thought to myself: why not?Lately this has been a major part of my cosplays and I know not having enough cleavage is a reason many girls end up not cosplaying some characters... and that's just sucky =[

I would say that would really be more dependent on the type of bra(s) you are going to be wearing with the costume and how far down they go in the front, and how much coverage they have overall.Β

I would not recommend using it. Basically because with all that stuffing it will move and start falling down, since there's nothing to hold it in place. And you don't want to find yourself with your bra around your waist and socks coming out of it.

I've been wanting to dress up as some of my favorite game n comic characters, but have always been so frustrated that they all have to have DDD's up top! I would like to thank you for this great tutorial. I have tried this with the bras I already have with the socks to see how effective it would be, and that alone has made all the difference in the world. I do have one question though...Now, regularly I wear a 34C. Would I get a B cup to start it off?

A lot of popular cosplayers actually have breast implants. Β Not sure if Jessica does, but some photos (swimsuit photos, for instance) look like she got a boob job.

This tutorial is amazing, and I really appreciated the video on the makeup as well. I took your advice and tried it at home first, and I have to say I was impressed by the effect. Many of my friends actually commented on it

I don't suppose this would work very well with strapless bras would it? I feel like they'd slip a lot but I'm not sure

I tried it with strapless bras. Like in the tutorial you just gotta make sure they are padded and I found that making the bra size smaller but with a bigger cup size on the second bra worked pretty well to give the effect of pushing your breasts up. I only did it with two bras though not three. The Β I just applied the makeup as normal. It doesn't gives exactly the same effect but it worked pretty well. Hope this helps

Now I feel more confident about try this technique to see if I could get an accurate cleavage for Power Girl. It's also encouraging me to think about doing other characters I never thought about before, because I didn't think my body would look ok in those suits.

Second, I have two questions. First one is will I be able to do this? I'm a 34 B but it's a really small B and I'm really close to just being a large A cup. I'm just wondering if this will have the same effect with my boobs being as small as they are and if there are any extra steps I could take to make it work better for me. (although they look really close to yours in the before pic)
Second question is is it possible for me to do something like this with strapless bras? My friends and I want to do a Fullmetal Alchemist group and they said I should be Lust since we look similar and I have her very pale skin. Only problem is her boobalicious boobs and her dress is strapless. Could I do the same method here only with strapless bras?

I have a similar bust size to what you are describing, and the original tutorial works REALLY well on creating more impressive cleavage. The most important thing I found was that make sure they are all padded (look for descriptions on the tag like 'push-up') and having the second bra as a racerback (joined straps in the middle) really helped compared to a normal bra.Β
I also tried it with strapless bras. Like in the tutorial you just gotta make sure they are padded and I found that making the bra size smaller but with a bigger cup size on the second bra worked pretty well to give the effect of pushing your breasts up. Β I don't think that strapless bras would have the same lifting effect. It would make your chest look larger, but I don't think it would add all of the cleavage. But it might, I would say to try it and see if it works!Β
If all else fails, you may be able to use ones with straps and add makeup or paint that matched your skin color to conceal them a bit.
