BIO

story: Her parents are divorced. Her dad lives in Quebuck taking care of grandpa Flapjack and Granny Maple Leaf, who live in a cottage in the forest outside of town. Her father is a cook in town as well. His family is very traditional. They have a way of doing things they believe is correct and expect that to be how it's done. Her mother lives on a berry farm in Ponyville across town from Applejack's farm. They (much like the apples) make their income entirely off farming. the family is a mix of pegasi and earth ponies, as Granny Shortcake is an earth Pony and Grandpa Cobbler was a pegasus. As he was adopted by Earth ponies, he has an Earth Pony skill set and name despite being a pegasus.

The Berry Family is close to the Lemon family, another set of ocs. The notable exception to this is Strawberry Syrup and Lemonade, the oldest son of the Lemons. Their parents want them to get along, but they always end up bickering. Strawberry Syrup had plans to cut ties with the Lemon farm after Lemonade and her take over, something which scares her mother. Her mother thinks she is acting rashly based on emotion, not based on the best interest of the farm...and tbh she is. They considered leaving the farm to one of her cousins, but raspberry has a son now and sunset just plain has no interest in running the farm.

"It's not like we're asking you to marry Lemonade. We just need you two to cooperate."

Strawberry really wants to run the farm, but really is NOT ready to handle such a responsibility. That doesn't mean she never will be. She feels insecure, like her family doesn't think she can do it. in some ways they kinda don't.

Her closest friends are Primrose Proper, a gardener unicorn who's magic makes plants grow and Spray Paint, a rebellious aspiring artist Earth Pony. She is also friends with Vanilla Bloom and Matcha Whisk, two ponies from the coffee shop she frequents. She used to have a crush on Matcha, but he rejected her as he is gay. now they're friends again. she has no hard feelings.

Her relationship with AJ is very strained after what her cousin said about apples. She really admires Pinkie Pie though.
