Description
EDIT 02/05/2013: Remade from scratch, now drawn in ArtRage with a slightly changed scriptKorean translation: [link]
Russian translation: [link]
Pinkie logic and Fluttershy being Fluttershy.
The comic was inspired by a clip from Simpsons I saw a while ago (it was about their heads and hair, though).
Edit 02/05/2013: Also, no one could tell me for sure if ponies have fur or hair on their body (different sources = different answers), so I added a little joke about that
Everything drawn by me in Art Rage Studio Pro 3 with a tablet. I used Ink Pen and Felt Pen tools. Lettering was done in Inkscape.

MLP, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy belong to Hasbro. Art by me.
If you repost it, please link back here (but you can't post it on DeviantArt!) | And watch me if you haven't done it yet. And if that's okay with you.

Heh, it surprises me that there are people who do not get it.It doesn't have to be funny for everyone's taste, but I thought the comic is pretty obvious.
I'll just copy my previous comment:
Can you see where Pinkie's hoof begins? You can see that when you look at a real life horse, but not an MLP mare (the joke doesn't work with some stallions like Shining Armor).
I hope it explains everything.

But what scared Fluttershy?
It is normal in Equestria. In fact Shining Armor and Big Mac can be considered as anomalies.

Idea... The native american word "pony" actually translates into "big dog." (Native americans didn't know what they were looking at when they first say horses.) So I can see Fluttershy running to Twilight and Twilight starts talking about the meaning of the word pony freaking Fluttershy some more.
Just an idea.

Maybe the hair hardens towards the end, creating a hoof. Sort of like a rhino's horn? XD
This is so funny lol

The fur covers their hoof, at least, that's what I think. I don't know much about horse anatomy.

What they mean is: There is no clear border between the hoof and the fur of the horses. It's like there was no border between our nails and skin Took me awhile to understand though, too.

Certain ponies such as big macintosh DO havethis border that pinkie pie is searching for.

I just assume that the normal ponies' "hair" would be short and fuzzy with their skin making up much of their coloration, like that of a peach. Or, it could just be flash animation needing a simplistic style, and because ponies.

Some artists consider the hoof to be the same color as their coat, with the exceptions of Big Macintosh and Shining Armor.
There was one Fluttershy pic, done quite well, I might add, that had a close up of her hoof and you could see where the coat stopped and the smooth hoof began....
...drat, I can't find it...

Some artists draw them in such a way that the hoof has a normal, grayish color, but hair ends in a way you bearely can notice there is a hoof. But well, we are talking about the drawing style in the series ^^

Stop being real Pinkie! You're going to give Fluttershy a heart attack.
Also, remember if you aren't complimented by me in the My-Little-Comics, that's because I didn't judge it. I give my honest opinion on every new submission... Wait a sec, why am I not watching you. Let me fix that... there!

More like where the hair ends, and the skin(Or hoof, in this case) begins.
It's not just a cartoon thing, you can see it on yourself in the mirror.

Not on your hand. Your head, for them it would be their hooves since they have hair all over their bodies, except their hooves.
Unless you have a very hairy hand.

HA HA HA! it seems, indeed, their hooves has no border. which implies they end up nowhere |D
and yeah, i remember seeing that episode of Lisa and Bart freaking out about their hair line border. that made me even lol when Lisa grabbed a black marker and started drawing a line border for delimiting her hair |D freaking Pinkie logics |)
thanks for the laugh and thanks for using the background.

There is hair, and there are hooves, and they are connected. Pinkie points out that there is no border, thus freaking Fluttershy out when she realizes the same thing.

Look in a mirror- you hairline is the border between skin and hair. Pinkie is pointing out that their hooves, which don't have hair on them, are identical to their furry legs. It's similar to this clip from The Simpsons- [link]
(This clip is awful quality, I'm sorry! I couldn't find any better.)
