Because could you really resist giving a sleepy Twilight a scratch behind the ear? You know you want to read her a story and give her scritchy-scratches! Don't even try to deny it!

And with this last picture, I conclude series one of Pony Petting. But fear not, series two will follow shortly - after a little break to sort out commissions and maybe breathe some life into one of my other projects.
I hope you've enjoyed this little series and that its been worth the wait. I had a lot of fun drawing them (as well as a lot of frustration, stress, and bashing my head against walls... it's part of my creative process
) and I'm very proud of the final products. Probably some of my finest work so far

Had a bad dream this night. Here's what I saw: Twilight approaches a chest in some royal-looking room. Canterlot, I guess. Using her magic she takes out the accessories, similar to those of Celestia. But these are silver instead of golden (I have no idea why. Blame my mind responsible for generating the dream). As she puts them on, her hair style magically changes to the one she had during her coronation, but with that waving effect and sparks. Finally, she puts on a silver crown on her head. The crown doesn't look like any she actually wore. Although it doesn't look evil-ish either.
When I saw this from-behind-her-perspective, it looked like Twilight was doing this with all seriousness she could. It felt like she made a decision to fully embrace her title as a princess, and to do so she needs to sewer all of her rlationships with everypony.
I still feel down after this dream. For some reason, I need to avoid Twilight however I can. And for me it is TERRIBLE. Twi is my best pony!
