I know there is a theme in the episode "magic duel" that revenge will drive you to dark places that will cause a lost hold of direction and make you into no an avenger but a monster...

but I'm more for Trixie learning a way to defeat Twilight and avenge herself without going megalomaniac and overly cruel in the process...

a sort of wake up call to the sort of Goku vs Vegeta fight 1 backgrounds...

of which i think you pic depicts...

Which in light of something like this could easily result in Trixie having disgust with Twilight's Princess ship... not because of power, but the lack of reason for it... learned form such a clash as this...

heck, even cause a situation of "I've suddenly come to wonder, what is it that makes a princess my social better...? What makes you really my social better? And not just me, but every pony- EVERY pony..."

and such stuff about purpose, honor, being genuine, and the full reality of things...
